Look how far I've come......

I don't have anything new to share with you this morning but I wanted to have a post so I thought it would be fun to show how far I've come.
My friend, Jennie, and I were talking the other day about how much my cardmaking has progressed. I started about 4 years ago, in Feb. I had swore to that point that I would NEVER rubberstamp, I'd NEVER be in a swap and many other NEVERS.
Well, so much for all that. LOL!!
Anyway, here's the first card I created on my own, that I could find a photo of. Scary isn't it?
Hopefully later I'll be back with a new creation. Have a happy day!

It is amazing to see how far we've progressed! I was thinking the same thing over the weekend. Can't wait to see what you're working on!

I don't remember exactly what my first card looked like - but I know I was in the same boat as you. You've come a long way girlfriend.

I know what you mean! we've all come a long way and it's by sharing with others in blog land that my own card making has come on in leaps and bounds. To think that a couple of years ago I didn't have any DP at all! hugs, annie x

Do you know this is so funny b/c Jen and I were JUST talking about this. My "blogaversary" is in Feb and I was thinking about showing my first card I ever made at an SU workshop. How fun!

hey - it's not so bad! Just shows how much you've learned over the years!

My first card was in a class, so it actually turned out ok! Just lucky!

You are a brave woman! I would NOT post my first card! I'm pretty sure it looked like a first grader made it. You are amazing now, good job making all that progress!

Your first card is much better than my first card :) Thanks for sharing, maybe someday I'll be brave enough to post mine :)

Holy Cow!! You have come a long way!!! It's funny to see the past as I'm sure we all have something like this in it! I first started out scrapbooking and the big thing then was stickers - EVERYWHERE. They deemed it the "sticker sneeze". Boy how we change!

You crack me up!! I would not be brave enough to post my first card. I used to always use those border sheers that make different cuts, and they were never straight but boy I thought they looked great. Kind of funny, huh? :)

You are super brave, but it is also good to see how far we've all come with our stamping. I occasionally look at some of my early stuff - it's a bit scary, but then it's all a learning journey and it's a FUN learning journey. So it's all good. :)

LOL! I was once there too! Your card is actually really cute. When I made my first card, I actually thought my card was really nice. I laugh when I look at the photo of that card now but I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Wow, its bright! As my mom always tells me, we all start somewhere and should be proud of how much we've progressed. I'll have to see what I can dig up, I'm one of the brave ones!

Isn't it amazing how quickly you learn and pick up techniques! I do the same thing sometimes and look back at the first cards I created. Wow, was I ever bad! I am surprised I didn't just give up! Thanks for sharing!!
