Stepping down, but not out...

I've been struggling for the last month, many of you know that. Well, after really sitting down and evaluating everything, I realized that I just can't do it all. I just don't see how some of you out there in blogland manage everything!!
I love being on design teams/challenge teams but well, I think I need a break from some of the "every" week ones. I was starting to look at them as a chore, not fun and that's not good.
My final decision was made this week when I created cards "just because" and I had fun again and I liked the end results, something I haven't done much of lately.
Also my own Flutter By team is growing so I want to dedicate more time to it.
With all that being said, it still was soooo hard for me to write two emails stepping down from teams. I adore the leaders of these teams, admire them and am inspired by them. Along with my other team mates, wow, the inspiration and talent there. So in all my heart, I hope that they all still stop by and say hello and don't become strangers.
So tonight I stepped down from Maria's, Christmas Stampin' All Year Long team, and also from Madelynn/Jessica's, Twinkling Tuesday team. Again, it wasn't something that was easy and I still plan on participating when I can.....just not as a team member.
Thank you so much to Maria and Jessica for giving me the chance to be on their teams. I so enjoyed them each and have learned so much from each of you.

You are just the sweetest, Danni! I am SO happy for you in your endeavors and we all have so much going on, I totally understand! That being said, you are totally not "out"!!! I look forward to keeping in touch with you and visiting your blog, etc. daily. You are such a joy to know and I'm just glad we got to know each other through the TT and are now friends.

Good luck with all your design work and teams and we will definitely see you soon! BIG HUGS!!!

You are making a wise choice. You should never feel like it is work. It's just sometimes you get so excited about the wonderful opportunities coming your way, you just can't say no. And then it is deadlines here and deadlines there. Both of your teams are going to understand. Some of them probably feel just like you do. It really will be just as fun to complete the challenge as a participant as it was a team member.
xoxo, Christine

I can only imagine how heavy this weighed on your heart, but I give you so much credit for being able to see that you needed to step back a bit and rediscover why it is that we do these amazing stamped projects! Hugs to you!

Danni...I'm so sorry you've struggled with this. Speaking for myself...you have provided so much inpsiration and encouragement to so many. Heck...sometimes...it's a personal challenge of mine to comment on someones blog before you!...but you are always there...with a kind word for everyone. Please take care of Danni and continue to remember why we do this.....for the fun of it. {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}

That's probably why you've been feeling your mojo slipping...though it never showed! Glad you're doing what's right for you and your family! You deserve to have fun in creating projects!

Hiya Danni, I see your point so much!. Sometimes blogging can take over, it does here, another addiction. I have pulled out off so many challenges as I just dont have the time to participate in them all anymore like you many had just become a chore, routine almost, and like you for me my crafting is for fun. I am sure the dt you have stepped down will miss you greatly. Joey.xxx

You will be missed, I'm sure, but you did the right thing. My DH (who is an avid golfer) has always said..... when somethng you love doing starts to feel like a job, it's time to back off or stop doing it.

People are always asking him to teach them how to play golf (he was an instructor at one time), and that's usually his response.

You are still loved!

Hugs,

Hey Danni! I totally understand! I go through the same thing too! Believe it or not! LOL! I go through moments when crafting is a chore and struggle with it. Most times, I get over the feeling. I'll miss you on CSAYL. . .you were a great team member!! We'll still see one another in blogland and I'll stop by and play in FBW challenges when I can. Hope to see you on CSAYL once in a while too!!
