Try It Out Tuesday #29

Our challenge this week was to create a gift for someone. I don't know why but the minute I hear I have to make a "project" vs. a card I panic. I guess it's out of my comfort zone but one I enjoy..after it's all done. LOL!
Be sure to check out Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see the other wonderful creations from the design team and also to see how you can play along.
I decided to make a gift for my dog, Heidi Ann. Yes, I know I'm silly but today is her 10th birthday! We got her in Germany the first year we were married (that's where we were stationed). She is just the best dog and my first "baby". I even threw her a birthday party for her first birthday, much to Sam's dismay. LOL!
Here's some more recent photos of her (she is a boxer, but a very small boxer).

Okay so I won't "give" this to her, except for the doggie treats, but I thought it would be nice to give to a friend who has a similar love for dogs. I used a tutorial on SCS for the Tiny Treat Basket.

supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: Rian, SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
paper: SU retired Kiwi Kiss, SU retired Raspberry Tart,
ink: SU basic black
others: prismacolors, OMS, SU scallop and large oval punches, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls,

From one boxer mommy to another...I love it! My dogs get parties for their birthday's and "doggie" birthday cupcakes. I drive my husband crazy when I do it, but he ends up laughing and joining in.

Thanks for sharing the great pictures. After having seven boxers, it is hard for me to see on and not thing, "Oh, he/she looks like...
