Bear with me....

While the kiddos are home for the next two weeks I don't get much "adult interaction" so my blog is my voice so to speak, so bear with me for a bit and please don't feel like you have to comment on every post!!
I just had to share....I bought my Cricut Expression earlier in the year. I've been scared of it. It just sits there and taunts me every day. This week Hobby Lobby had a cartridge sale so I went and bought 2 new cartridges, because we know I'm obsessive about collecting things. LOL!
One of the cartridges I got was Paper Doll Dress Up. I got it with the intention of creating paper dolls for Belle using my scraps.
I am happy to report that today I made myself face my opponent and I made my first paper doll!!!

It's still a work in progress but Belle loved it so we're good. Now that I made one thing...maybe I'll continue to use this awesome machine instead of being intimidated by it!

Great job Danni. I have had the original Cricut, never really used it. I messed up too much CS and DP and gave up. I am glad that you "dusted yours off", maybe it's time for Cricut projects.... :)

The princess is adorable.

Don't be afraid of your Cricut :) It's a wonderful tool to have! I also have the Paper Doll Dress Up and I luv it! You can do various things with this cartridge and it can be used all year long.

My son was into Batman & Robin. I cut the superhero from the cartridge and computer generated my son's face. Pasted his face on the doll, added the mask and voila! It turned out way too cute!

Have a Merry Christmas Danni!

I was always so worried about cutting to and I told myself (time and time again) it's only paper!!! Your not wasting much if you don't succede. I use printer paper a lot when I'm experimenting as well.

Blessings,
Christine

Your paper doll is just the cutest! I'm sure your little girl can't wait for you to make more! I got my Cricut Create for Mother's Day this year and have only made one thing with it, so I can totally relate to your story! BTW, I found your blog through "1luvnmama" and I'm so glad I did! You've got some great creations and thanks so much for sharing them! Aloha, Linda

WOOHOO!!! Way to go Danni! You will LOVE it sooo much if you just let yourself get used to it. I can honestly say that there is hardly ever a day go by that I don't use my Expression for some type of cut. PPDU is one of my favorite carts. It has everything on it, including my very favorite cow. You will be amazed. Check out every little cut on that cart. Love your precious princess, Danni! She's adorable! Have fun exploring! hugs!

Awww! She's so cute! I could have fun making paper dolls all day long if I had nothing else to do. I used to love paper dolls when I was little.

Have you ever visited The Pink Stamper blog?

http://www.mypinkstamper.com/

She makes videos several times a week using her Cricut. My friends who have Cricuts tell me that they learn alot from her.

This is cute as Danni. I just went to a market yesterday and found a lady selling these. I brought a whole heap to put on some cards and pages. I love them. So cute.

Way to go Danni!! Don't let that big machine scare you. You'll have SO much fun with it and it can do so many neat things. Once you get using it a little more, you'll find it's not intimidating at all. Love your paper doll! That's one that I don't have and keep looking at. Great job!
