Miss Dancin’ Queen

I colored this digi this last weekend at craft group and decided she needed to be made into a card.
The image is a digi from Whimsy and Stars Studio-Mabelle RO and is called Miss Dancin’ Queen.  I’m squeaking in at the last minute (I might be too late) but, my layout is from the talented Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #14. I left off the sewing bits as it just didn’t work out for me.

Anyone else ever use a product that has memories attached to it? Ever since lace has become so popular on cards, ever time I pull out my bags of lace I just smile. They were “leftovers” from my Great-Grandma and most of them were from dresses or clothes she made me or my dolls! I miss her so much, even though she’s been gone for years. But I know she’s smiling when she sees me putting things to use.

Also wanted to send out a huge thank you to those of you who take the time out of your day to visit my blog. I really appreciate it so much!! I always “look” at blogs each day but my commenting is pretty irregular at the moment. I’m hopeful that when the kids go back to school in a few weeks that our routine will be more stable and then hopefully I’ll be around more!
