Bunny Friends

Here we are at the last day of February! Does anyone else feel like the month went by way too fast? 

I just got this set, Bunny Friends from The Angel Company and thought it would be a fun one to get inky! I had tons of fun paper piecing the balloons!

When putting my card together I was stumped as to what to add to it but the more I looked at it, the more I liked the Clean and Simple look so I just left it. What do you think? does it need something more?

Cheery Q

Christy has a dear friend turning 40 soon and wanted to surprise her with 40 cards so I thought it would be fun to join in!

Christy had designed an image for her friend but I thought I'd be different and use an image I've had for awhile but haven't used, Cheery Q. Isn't she so fun on her cupcake?

My colors were based of off Christy's friends favorites. I kept it pretty simple so it'd mail okay. Hope she enjoys it!!

Dancing Love

In case you missed THIS post, I am so honored to have been chosen to be a guest designer for Whimsy and Stars Studio-Mabelle RO! 

I have been a fan of Mabelle's stamps that she does for The Angel Company for years now and was so excited when she started selling digi's too. Now I can get some cuteness overload two places from her!!

Thought it only appropriate that I create a card using one of her newer digis, Dancing Love. Aren't they such a cute couple?? I went a little crazy on her dress, in my mind though she's the "free spirit" and he's the one that's more down to earth..hehe!

I printed my image a bit larger than I normally do so it really is the main focus of the card.

Let it snow...

I *should* have a card done to share with you today, actually I *should* have lots of cards done as we've been having snow here in Washington and we haven't done much but well..I don't. LOL! 

I haven't done much of anything but truthfully, it's been nice. 

It's suppose to be rather chilly this weekend so we're planning on staying home so hopefully I'll have something to share soon!!

Spec-TAC-ular Thursday- English Everyday Cuties

Thursday is here already! Time sure does move fast--don't blink! 

For today's Spec-TAC-ular Thursday I decided to play with the cute set, English Everyday Cuties. So many sweet images and sentiments in this set, really a versatile set!

I used an older SCS sketch, SC239.

Open weeks kill me..LOL! So many awesome stamps, how to choose! This week I decided to play with Paper Makeup Stamps as I have so many and sadly they've been neglected lately. 

I thought Tangii Fairy would be a fun fairy to ink up as her little latte in her hand reminds me of all the little coffee stands up here in Washington..seriously I think there is one on every block! LOL! and to add some "spice" to them, many feature girls in bikinis which totally cracks me up.

A sketch!

Anyone that has followed my blog knows I love sketches, so I couldn't pass up using this fab sketch that Suzanne made for the  SCACD DT for this week!!

My card~

I decided to ink up the last "From the Vault" image from Victoria Case for SCACD, Celebrate. I love this cake and it is so versatile!! I had so much fun coloring this image!! I think it would also look awesome in a monochromatic color scheme...like I said, so versatile!


Okay, after finishing the colorful card, I decided to try and make a more elegant one. For my "pearls" I used my Viva Decor Pearl pen, love using this especially when there are multiple pearls needed.

Sweet n' Sassy Stamps recently has released some of the sweetest digi's featuring a sweet bunny, Bethany. I couldn't wait to use one!

I'm also using the sketch from this week's Sweet Stop challenge--there is also a twist this week to "think spring"...I think sweet Bethany Sending Her Love is springy with the flowers and butterfly!

Weekend challenge between friends

Kristie and I have both have many stamp sets in common so we thought it would be fun to challenge each other once in a while on the weekends with different sets/companies/etc. so that we are actually *using* our stuff.

This weekend we decided to work with our Aurora sets from Victoria Case for SCACD and the color purple.

I stamped Aurora twice and then cut one image out and placed it on top of the other image for some dimension. For my layout I used this week's Sketchy Thursday sketch, Sketch #118.

Here's what I came up with~

The little details~ Aurora with tulips, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious-which is 25% off right now, nestabilities, Kaisercraft pearls, Smooch Illuminate, Viva Decor Lilac Pearl Pen, stardust stickles, 

I had time so I created one more card~ This time from the Aurora 2 Collection, Out on the Town. I think it would be awesome to have a flower umbrella!! 

For this one I stamped her flower umbrella twice and cut one out to place on the other image for dimension. I found my inner sparkle on this card too, hehe, I used sparkly fluff, Smooch Illuminate, Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint (I totally, totally {heart} this paint!!) and some stickles! Oh and some copic glitter pens too!

I also had fun and used my Sew Easy to add some touches of stitching. Have you ordered yours yet??

Rain or Shine Friends

I was excited to see that Mabelle RO--Whimsy and Stars Studio--had some fun new spring images. I got even more excited when I saw this cute image, Rain or Shine Friends!! 

Aren't they just the cutest little girls? I really love Mabelle's style of drawing, her characters and animals are always so adorable!

I'm entering this in this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge which is Shiny Happy Cards. I added some diamond glaze to the umbrella so it would shine.

Spec-TAC-ular Thursday- Rolling By

Time to start the Spec-TAC-ular Thursday's again!! I'm not sure if Michelle is playing along this week or not but you should still check out her blog as there's lots of awesome creations to check out there!!

This week I wanted to play with a set from the Fall Supplement, Rolling By. I just think these little girls and boys are the cutest!! For my paper I used the Soar With It Collection, Kaleidoscope Brights. Such fun, happy papers! (This paper is retired but I got it with the So Big Promotion!)

Our challenge today threw me a bit...we are to use a rainbow or have a rainbow of colors on our creations along with our butterfly, fairy or angel. I went the rainbow of colors route on my fairy's wings..hehe!

I used another one of the images from the latest Carmen Medlin for SCACD release, Lilia. What a pretty, sweet fairy she is!
