Hello 2012!

Happy New Year!! I hope that 2012 is a fabulous year for us all!
New Year’s Day always brings a mix of emotions, saying goodbye to another year and then saying hello to all the possibilities of the new year…always a bit bittersweet.
2011 was a pretty good year for me. Moving to Washington, meeting new people, seeing new things…always exciting! I must say that I truly miss El Paso though and all the friends there. I’m so thankful for the internet which allows us to be in touch almost daily via Facebook.
I always like to see how I faired with my goals from the previous year, some I did pretty well with and I see some are the same goals I want for 2012. I also looked back for my “word” of the year, and I think I did pretty well with that. My new word for 2012 is Rediscover. There are so many things that I have put on the back burner because of my stamping, I miss them and really want to take time for them again. Much easier said than done though as stamping seems to consume me..LOL!
The quick list of my goals for 2012~
  • continue on my journey to a healthier me! For those that don’t know, I am taking baby steps towards this and the first thing I did was give up my beloved Dr. Pepper and soda on October 14, 2011---still going strong with none but I sure do miss it.
  • work to build my Scentsy business
  • continue to send out RAK’s and donate cards to organziations
  • scrapbook
  • read
There are more, some are silly ones like get a manicure/fake nails--just because I’ve never done it, but those are the main ones.
Onto my calendar page for January! I downloaded this calendar template <HERE> and also got inspiration from fellow blogger friend, Tammi.  The calendar gals will have theirs up to so be sure to visit them and leave some love~
Last year MFT introduced the Pure Innocence Flower Girls--cutie pie little girls for each month of the year with that month’s flower. I have gotten almost all of them so what better use for them than to make my calendar with them!
Here’s my January calendar using Pure Innocence Carnation--which is one of my most favorite flowers!
