Behind the door…

With the newest Dies by SCACD, I wanted to try and do something a bit different with the Ornate Doorplate with Knob.

I started with my white cardstock which I cut on my trimmer to create a “door”. Next I used an embossing folder to give it some texture. Then I cut out the Ornate Doorplate with Knob out of white cardstock and then painted it with Luminarte Solar Gold Silk Glaze. Once it was dry I added it to my door. The knob is on several glue dots so it’s elevated a tad bit.

For the inside I inked up The Regency by Carmen Medlin for SCACD as I thought she was so elegant to go with my newly created door. I colored her with my copics. I added some sparkle with my stardust pen and copic glitter pens.

To finish I just added my image behind my door and attached to my card. I think it turned out so pretty--what do you think?
