A new project...

I've tried several different ways to keep track of my copic color combos but haven't been happy with any of them so I set out on a search to find a different way this week.

Finally after many suggestions from friends on Facebook I *think and hope* I found something that I will like! Kristy from Some Odd Girl shared with me the Copic Swatch Book she had made~HERE. When I saw it, the light bulb went off and my mind said Oh yeah--that's what will work!

So here's the start of my Copic Swatch Book. I really like this idea because I can have categories but still add to them as I discover new combos. Plus I can use a variety of images to show how the colors look on different images. Yup, I think this is the one!!

Most of these combos are not my original ones but ones I find on blogs, Pinterest, etc. It always is fun to see what's out there!

The cover and you can see my dividers/tabs. I can add more as I want.

Those are just the few I got done last night. I'm super excited about this and know it will help me in my coloring!

I also had to share a little comparison to show that practice does pay off! Both of these  images use the exact same hair colors but wow, look at the difference! I have progressed!!

Now my question to you--my loyal readers--would you like to see the swatches as I complete them or not at all??

Have a great night/day! I'm off to color!!

If all else fails-add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

What a fabulous idea and wonderful resource to share! So fun to see how you have progressed, too! I don't color, so I won't chime in about whether to show your combos or not, except that I enjoy seeing what you're up to!
Thanks so much for sharing!

Yes, yes, yes! Post all that you do! I need all the help, tips, and inspiration I can get as I am a newbie to coloring. I use Copics and colored pencils and love them both.

What a fantastic idea! I use ProMarkers rather than Copics so I think I might have to do one of these for myself. Thanks for the great inspiration.
And WOW has your coloring improved!!

Hope you don't mind I just shared the link to this project with a couple of my DT's. It's just too fabulous to not pass along to my girls.

Oh wow, I am definitely going to borrow this idea from you. I need lots of work on my coloring, especially the hair. I have a hard time picking color combos when I work with Copics so looking for ideas.
