Saying hello..

Sorry to be absent for a few days. Seems like life wanted me to slow down or something as I just haven't felt like myself this week and truthfully I've been on the couch vegging or sleeping often.

I re-evaluated things and have stepped down from the CMC Copic Challenge team--I am so very thankful for Suzanne giving me a chance and the opportunity to design for her fun challenge.

I have also stepped down from the Whimsy & Stars Studio team but I will be a guest designer for them for a few months.

I hope that by lifting my duties it will bring back my desire to craft and hopefully even get into a good routine with both cards and scrapbook pages.

The kids have a half day today at school so I'm hoping that this afternoon and evening I can dive into a project and have something to share soon!

Enjoy your Friday!!

If all else fails-add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

We all have to reprioritize now and then. For a while, I was doing WAY too much. Good luck - hope things will work out, and your mojo comes back soon. Hmmm...school was out early here today too. Town was CRAZY!

Life has a way of getting to be too much sometimes, so I hope you find your way my friend! HUGS :)

Oh I can totally relate to this! Too much of a good thing is too much of a good thing. It can lead to burn out and lack of mojo. Glad you are taking some time for you and by freeing up the burden of committment, you may find yourself making more than you could have imagined!

Hi Danni. I can relate as well. We take on so much because it's something we love to do and then all of a sudden, it's become a chore/job rather than the thing we love. Glad you're taking a moment and just stepping back to get doing what you love. Your DT's will certainly miss you though!! Maybe a GDT here and there will work better?? Enjoy your break!! I've had a bit of one myself.
