Stampin' Up Sunday #1

After lots and lots and lots of thought, I have decided to sign back up with Stampin' Up within the next couple of weeks.

I know that I've been wishy washy with direct selling companies~~sold for TAC, then SU, then TAC, then SU, then CTMH but after thinking about it and seeing the new catalog (oh my goodness!) I decided that SU just feels like home. Although I don't use 100% SU products, I do use several products on every card~~ from cardstock to inks, to embellishments, punches, etc. and I do adore their stamps so why not! Plus they have changed many of their policies that limited me in the past.

I know many, if not most, of my friends already sell SU or have a demo, but if you don't....hope you'll consider me! :) I will have an online website once I get signed up so I'll share that when the time comes.

I thought it would be fun to have one day a week devoted to sharing something Stampin' Up so after thinking about my schedule and such, I came up with Stampin' Up Sunday's!! I hope you'll join me each Sunday to see one or a few projects using SU goodies.  Everything might not be 100% current at first but I'll work on that!

I struggle so much with cards that don't require coloring so I plan to focus on those type cards to help me improve and feel more comfortable with them. To help me get started this week I looked at some challenges and decided to try the current Color Throwdown's color challenge. Those that know me, know I usually run away from color challenges but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf! LOL!

Here's what I came up with~once I started I just kept going!

On this first card I had a hard time getting the stamps/punch lined up but then Kristie shared this awesome "pin" with me so now my stamps are marked and ready to go from now on!

My second card I was too lazy to get my stamp-a-ma-jig down to line up the sentiment properly so it's a little crooked but I didn't think it turned out too bad.

My third card is probably my favorite. I took the reverse punched cardstock and made a mask--sponged on the Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky and voila', a pretty background.

Thanks for stopping by!! I must admit I had so much fun with these cards and found that I didn't struggle as much as I use to so maybe there's hope for me yet!

If all else fails, add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

Stamps~ SU Flower Shop, SU Express Yourself
Ink~  SU Tangerine Tango,SU Soft Sky, SU Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock~ SU Whisper White, SU Tangerine Tango, SU Soft Sky
Designer Paper~
Other Goodies~ SU rhinestones, SU dimensionals, sponges, SU Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, SU Pansy Punch

How fun that you're going to be a SU demo! I hope you find that works well for you!
This color combination is very pretty and I love what you created with it! I think the last card is my favorite, too! Something about two of the colors being so very soft while the orange is bold and beautiful!
TFS! Have a great day!

Yeah congrats welcome to the SU family. I love your cards you did a great job. Maybe I can get out of my funk and play along with you...my work schedule makes it a little difficult but I will figure it out soon...

These are all so pretty Danni! I also struggle with cards that don't feature a colored image so I'll be sure to stop by to see what you've created ... maybe it will help me think outside the box too.

I love your cards. So bright and pretty. I had a sneaking suspicion you might sign back up after my last visit to Pinterest. Enjoy.
