Melody

I've been a fan of Make It Crafty for quite a while now but have to say, many of their gorgeous images have intimidated me. Now that I'm starting to feel more confident in my coloring, I really am looking forward to coloring up more of their images!! 

 I was blessed to have won a giveaway on Facebook for a $55 gift certificate to their store--boy was that a fun shopping trip and I still have some left! Whee!

 Onto today's card which uses Melody--one of the 60's Girlfriends Collection--which I think are just too fun!!  I'm also super pleased with this particular card because I finally figured out how to merge digi's using a tutorial by Zoe, the owner of Make It Crafty. Melody and the cushion are separate images but lookie there--I combined them! Yay me! LOL!!

I'm also throwing my hat into the current DT call that Make It Crafty is having for a new Facebook team. I am on Facebook way more than I should be and I will be having a blast coloring up these digi's so thought I'd try out for the team!

 Have a super weekend! I hope to get crafty and get ahead for the week but hopefully I'll be back soon!!

    Cute card as usual. That's very cool that you learned how to combine the pieces. She looks great sitting on the pillow. :)

    I love this card, Danni! Your coloring is what makes it. It's gorgeous!!! Congrats on figuring out how to merge the images. I need to do that seeing I use digi images so much. You definitely have your mojo back. xxx

    Danni, She is stunning and I love Make It Crafty images. I looked at that also but I do not know if I want to do that much talking on facebook and I think I'm in a good place now not under any presser to meet any dead lines, I do not want to put may self in that place again.
