Etsy has grown so much that people have a hard time finding you unless, as Sparkle said, you stay in the top 10 pages or so. With cards, that will be impossible unless you plan to spend a lot of money.
Instead, I would suggest adding a mini to your blog and working on pictures so that people just have to have that cute card. Your pictures are fine, don't get me wrong, but to compete on Etsy, it is unbelievable the quality that you need. It has to do with the angles and light that people use...I have not been able to achieve it myself, so I understand it is a challenge. But if you look at the light and angles of shops that are selling cards, you will see close ups mainly and weird angles....try and experiment with which card gets the most views and go with that angle and close up for a consistent feel to the shop. The macro button on your camera will become your good friend...I struggle with pictures so much, but with a little research, I think most people can improve the shots...I am still trying to figure it out, so maybe not. LOL Etsy has lots of tutorials and tips on their Blog section too...Search for whatever you want to know and they have an article on it.

You have cute cards and lovely work, so I think adding your Etsy mini to your blog might be the first place to start and it is easy to do...just go to Your Etsy and at the bottom of the left side there is a button for Etsy mini...follow the directions from there. I hope you do get more sales soon...you deserve it! :)
XOXO
ChristyTiddly Inks Digitalshttp://tiddlyinks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271165378395183312.post-73793136622953330772010-03-11T17:02:58.221-06:002010-03-11T17:02:58.221-06:00i have one and i get tons of views, but no buyers ...i have one and i get tons of views, but no buyers - well a few. i just like knowing it's there. you'll do fine!Stef Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02444258988159287145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271165378395183312.post-421751702724861152010-03-11T16:45:52.245-06:002010-03-11T16:45:52.245-06:00I've been thinking about trying to open one so...I've been thinking about trying to open one so I'd be interested in the comments you get as well. I read Sparkle's comment and that seems to make sense. I don't even know how to get my blog to feed to my FB page so not sure I'd be good at doing the etsy site :)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10359598422089882705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271165378395183312.post-15717031347084970142010-03-11T13:53:30.100-06:002010-03-11T13:53:30.100-06:00Hi Danni,
You need to post consistently. That do...Hi Danni,

You need to post consistently. That doesn't mean you have to post every day, but make a routine so people know when to look.

Every time you post something, it brings you up to the top of the list when people search for things, so that's why its important to post consistently.

Saturday mornings tend to have more views, so that might be a time to post your newest stuff.

Feed and add your Etsy to your Facebook page. That helped me out a lot too.

Good luck!Sparkplug17https://www.blogger.com/profile/11407370582230562783noreply@blogger.com
