This gorgeous digi, Rapunzel, is from Saturated Canary. I must say I think I'm finally getting the hang of coloring the long hair. I love how this turned out--is it okay if you keep admiring your own coloring from time to time?

I had quite a few people ask how I made THIS card so I thought I'd just take a few minutes and show you!
The idea was not my original idea but here's how I create these type cards.
I save my negative spaces from my diecuts/punches. These will act as your mask, so to speak.
Once you choose which negative space you are going to use, I tape it down onto my card front using removable tape.
Next I sponge on the base color, in this case SU Soft Sky. Be careful not to get any ink on your card front--if you need to, place an extra sheet of scrap paper down.
You can add as much or as little ink as you want for the effect you want.
For an added touch you could use a fine point marker, like a copic multi-liner and outline the shape too.
After the ink has dried then you can stamp your image onto the inked area. Leave your mask in place!! Here I used SU Old Olive, Su Tangerine Tango and SU Melon Mambo. The stamps are from TAC (which is no longer in business) Watercolor Plants--there are many silhouette stamps on the market now that would work perfect for this!
For a different look, try stamping your stamp a few times without re-inking it--it will be lighter each time. You can add as many images or as few as you want until you achieve the look you want. Try staggering the height levels for a nicer look too!
Once all the ink is dried you can carefully take off the mask and voila'~ an easy CAS card! You can add punched butterflies if you want, a sentiment or just leave as is.
Here's another card I created with the same inks, same stamps, just a different mask.

I already had the Searching digi but thought it would be fun to help Mabelle spread the word and play along with the challenge so here's what I came up with~
I wanted to add some diamond glaze/crystal effects/something clear and shiny over the magnifying glass but mine is history and I'm not buying anymore until after we move so just pretend it's shiny like glass, okay?

When I was growing up I wanted to be Wonder Woman so badly! LOL! I would pretend I was her often! Even girls can be super heroes~~like Super Girl Lili! How fun is she ready to come to your rescue!! And she's so cute too!
I think evil would see her coming as I went a little bright with her clothes..hehe!
