Lots of Bots

When I first saw the new SU set, Lots of Bots, I though nah, not for me. But as usual, I've seen lots of great creations with it and it's grown on me. I borrowed it from Jennifer for a few days so I could play with it.

One of my favorite things is to see different cards made with the same stamp set. Laura does some FANTASTIC creations using weekend sketches...just love her work. Another awesome blogger that has done some neat things is Vicki. Although she's stopped her feature of using the same set in creative ways, you can check out her blog for past samples...just amazing. Michelle has also featured some amazing posts using the same stamp set for all the cards. I'm sure there are others out there as well but those are a few of my favorites.

So anyhoo, I thought it might be fun for me to try and feature several cards made from the same stamp set once in a while.

With that being said, here's my first set of cards using Lots of Bots.

For my first card I was having issues deciding what colors to use and finally decided that this is a modern 'bot showing the new 'bot colors. LOL!

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: SU Lots of Bots
paper: SU Whisper White,scraps
ink: SU Basic Black, VersaMark,
others: prismacolors, copic glitter pens, nestabilities, white pen (this one is awesome), brads,

For my next one I decided to do a more girly 'bot.

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: SU Lots of Bots
paper: SU Whisper White, scraps,
ink: SU Basic Black
others: prismacolors, stardust glitter pens, glaze pen, SU scallop border punch, buttons, white scrappers floss, CM cutting system, white pen (this one is excellent), CM fine tip pens,

The next one uses one of the other 'bots in the set. I colored him in more grey tones and really like the other "colorful" 'bots better but maybe he's grey since he doesn't feel well? Hard to see but the dark grey paper is sparkly.

Supplies:
card size: 4 1/4 x 4 1/4
stamps: SU Lots of Bots
paper: SU Whisper White, scraps
ink: SU Basic Black, VersaMark
others: prismacolors, square clips, brads,

For my last card I used the last 'bot in the set. Just had to use some color on him.

supplies:
card size: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
stamps: SU Lots of Bots
paper: SU Whisper White, scraps
ink: SU Basic Black,
others: prismacolors, SU mat pack, brads,

If you like this fun set, see your Stampin' Up Demonstrator today and get it ordered. If you don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, contact me and I'd love to order it for you or you can order it online at my website.

When I was over at my friend, Jennifer's house the other day I was so surprised when our other scrappin' friend, Angel, gave me the neatest pack of paper. It's Sunsplashed by WeR Memory Keepers for Archivers. Such fun, fun paper.
In it was paper with surf boards and a light bulb went off....I dug through my RAK box and found a Surfer Riley. How fun!!

"The Card"

Another sweet Tilda image I received as an RAK image. So seriously cute!
I know this card doesn't look too involved but this is "the card" that has haunted me all week. Not sure why but I just struggled with it. I haven't done many scenes so maybe that's why. Not sure all I know is that I struggled with it.
What do you think of the end result??

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: image from RAK, butterfly background,
paper:
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black,
others: prismacolors, OMS, sugarberry smooch, stylized flower cuttlebug embossing folder, shimmerz, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, copic glitter pens,

Nada, Nothing, Zero...

It really annoys me when I don't have "something" to show you on my blog each day but alas, today I have nothing for you. I'm still working on "the card" and it has consumed so much time that I'm behind on all my "pre-posts", sigh.
Hopefully I'll have something before the day is up but for now, I just have a Have a happy day for ya!

Flutter By Wednesday #65

Welcome to another Flutter By Wednesday!! I'm so happy you're here!

Last week was an awesome week! So many amazing creations~~just awesome!!

This week's challenge is by team member, Michelle. She chose for us to use Buttons and Bows/ribbons on our cards along with a butterfly or fairy.
I'd love to see your creations! Leave a
direct link to your creation in Mister Linky, (I reserve the right to remove any links not appropriate or linked to blogs vs. entries.) If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW. Can't wait to see all those fab flutter by cards!

I'm also sad to say that Kimmie has decided to leave the team and focus on other things right now. We'll miss her.

We do have a new team member though! Taylor has been "waiting in the wings" for a spot on the team. Please stop by her blog and all the other team members sites, links on my sidebar, and leave them some love. Also be sure to wish Jodi a very Happy Birthday!!

My card almost didn't happen. I have been working on a different card for two nights. It's just really giving me a challenge and also one of those cards that I really want to finish before I move on....but with all the SU goodies arriving yesterday, I decided to use one of my new sets for a quick Flutter By card. Hope you like it!
Michelle will probably fire me as I sorta didn't follow directions exactly. I have the buttons and ribbon but the ribbon is through the buttons....hehehe!!

supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: SU Fun and Fast Notes,
paper: SU Pink Flamingo, SU Summer Sun, SU Real Red,
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMagic Thatched Straw,
