Live Every Day Like It's Taco Tuesday- Exciting Announcement!

I am beyond excited to finally be able to announce that I've joined the Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge Team!! Yay!! I can't wait to bring you inspiration each week for the challenge using Newton's Nook products!!

I feel so honored to be amongst these other amazing designers!!

I wanted to make a card to go along with this fun announcement so I pulled out lots of Newton's Nook products and got busy!

I chose the Newton Loves Tacos stamp set because well, cats & tacos!! I thought some of the paper in the A Cat's Life paper pad would be fun with their bright and happy colors. 

I stamped my cat and the cat tacos first and colored them up. I then used the Frames & Flags dies to create my background with the papers from A Cat's Life Paper Pad. I added a little interest by using the Land Borders Dies on the pawprint paper. 

I stamped the sentiment on the green polka dot paper and then put the card together. I just love how it came out!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo or as my card today says, Happy Cinco De Meow!! What a fun week of taco themed cards!!

Today I used the Newton's Nook stamp set, Newton Loves Tacos. I smiled the whole time I was creating this card!!

Let's Taco 'Bout How Amazing You Are

The current challenge at my group, There's a Stamp For That is #60-Tacos or Layers or Card with a Pocket. I thought it would be fun to do some taco cards this week not only for my challenge but to lead up to Cinco De Mayo!!

My first taco card uses the Kraftin' Kimmie Punny Valentine's stamp set. What a great set for more than valentines!

For my layout I used a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #572.

I used my retired SU designer series paper, Festive Birthday for my card too. I just love this paper and will be sad when I use it all up.

Memory Dex Monday- Newton Loves Tacos

One of the new themed days for my series, Mornings with Danni, is Memory Dex Monday! I thought that would be a fun way to build my collection of memory dex cards for me (or swaps)!!

Recently I created THIS memory dex card and I just loved it but I gave it away so I wanted to create one similar for myself as I just love it!!

The Newton Loves Tacos stamp set is just so much fun so I actually ended up creating two memory dex cards for myself! They make me smile!!

Taco Cat Memory Dex Card

Today I have another Memory Dex card made for my swap group to send to one of the members who never received their memory dex card for the swap.

I thought the fun Newton Loves Tacos stamp set would be fun to color up. I used a paper pad from Newton's Nook too, A Cat's Life. The memory dex die is one from Scrapping For Less that sadly is no longer in business.

I just love this fun stamp set and think this memory dex turned out so fun!

Happy Cinco De (Drinko) Mayo

I got this stamp set, Nacho Type at the end of last year from the Not 2 Shabby shop and knew I just had to make a card with it for Cinco De Mayo!! I don't see it in the shop right now but there are lots of other great stamp sets by the same company, Darcie's Heart & Home. 

How fun is that taco? It makes me smile! and the sentiment is just so fun!!

Some Odd Girl March Release Day 1-Planner Food

Hello friends!! Today is the first day of the Some Odd Girl March release! Yay! I always love new release time!! Be sure to visit the Some Odd Girl blog each day to leave comments for a chance to win some giveaways and to see the other design team members creations!!
