RAK- I Love Stamps Memory Dex Cards

I recently changed my swap group to a RAK group. Each month I put out a theme and you can use it or not to send out some fun RAKs. 

Many members of my group like Memory Dex cards so we're also sending out some memory dex cards as RAKs too.

This month the theme for the Memory Dex cards was embossing-either embossing folders or heat embossing. I thought since this was the first month of doing RAK's (random acts of kindness) that I would try to send out a TON!

Dog/Cat Card Swap #1

I was recently in a Cats/Dogs swap! Of course I had to do cats, even though I do love dogs too, hehe!!

For the first card of the swap, I had 2 partners, I used the Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set, Squishy Hugs! I just love that cats expression!!

I used an old sketch from a challenge that is no longer active.

I hope my partner liked the card. It was so fun to create!!

A Crafty Life Is A Happy Life

For the month of March I am doing a series on my YouTube Channel called Color March Happy (#ColorMarchHappy2022) where I am posting a new coloring video every day. 

I am hoping to get all the images that I color onto cards quickly but we'll see how that works. 😉

On Day 1, I colored up a freebie digital stamp from Adventures In Coloring with Amy Young. I thought this image was the perfect image to start my coloring series with!

Nothing like a little "reality" as while I was coloring this fun image I got the dreaded copic blob. I decided to leave it in the video as sometimes that is just what happens. I used the sentiment to cover up the blob on my card.

Wake Up and Enjoy Today!

I set out today to make a Halloween card and then I saw the fun digi, But First Coffee from Stamp Anniething laying there and it just screamed to be colored up!

I love the curlers in her hair! I never had success with curlers when my hair was long but I know lots of people who did.

The sentiment is from a retired set from The Greeting Farm. 

I added some polka dots to the pajamas with a white pen and I also added some glossy accents to the cup to make it a bit more realistic.

Cupcake Cutie

I really adore how this card came out! The color combo of the blue and green make me so happy! 

It's been awhile since I colored up a Krista Smith digi and I have to say, still a huge fan! 💚 She has such a unique style that I just love.

A new baby!

I rarely make baby cards which is weird because I have lots of stamps to make them, just rarely do, anyhoo, I needed a baby card for a friend so I was excited to use my Kraftin' Kimmie set, Welcome to the World. 

My friend isn't finding out the sex of the baby so I kept it very gender neutral. I am always amazed at how much joy I find in coloring up images and seeing them come to life and this was no exception. I also guess I'm on a polka dot kick lately, but there's just so fun to add! 

I hope my friend likes this and hopefully I'll start making baby cards a little more often as it was fun to make!
