Four on Friday- No coloring

It's time for another Four on Friday with my friend, Alicia!! This has to be one of my most favorite collabs!! Every few weeks we each post four projects with the same product, technique, type of card, etc. but we don't tell each other what we're doing so it's a surprise for us too!

Today I decided to make four cards with no coloring-sentiments only. Now to some that might not seem like that big of a deal but if you've followed me for any time, you know I LOVE to color and probably 95% of my cards all have an image and coloring on them. It truly is a challenge for me to make sentiment only cards.

After I decided that this was what I was going to do I sat and stared at my craft table for quite awhile. LOL! Finally I decided to use some sketches to make the process a bit easier! Although I'm not going to lie, many times I thought about changing this idea to include colored images, LOL!

My first card uses Freshly Made Sketches #273. I thought it was a great CAS sketch to use a few strips of scraps. I paired the sketch with the Reverse Confetti stamp set, A Friend Like You.

Next I used a sketch I found from Flowerbug's Inkspot. I used SU's Stitched All Around stamp set for this sketch.

My third card uses a sketch from Mojo Monday, Sketch #546. I used my Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1 for this one.

For my last card I just went freestyle, although I know there are sketches out there like this. I used my Pretty Pink Posh Thoughtful Greetings.

Thanks for stopping by and if you haven't been over to Alicia's video, make sure you head there now!!

September 2020 Sheetload Leftovers

I had a few leftovers from this month's Sheetload of Cards so I decided to use them to make a couple more cards.

Here's what I had left~

Not a lot, especially of the designer series paper but I still wanted to use what I had. I did add some more cardstock to make the base/layers.

Here's what I came up with using the leftovers and the Reverse Confetti stamp set, A Friend Like You. I kept them super simple but I love how they turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Non-affiliate supplies used: SU Crumb Cake Cardstock, SU Poppy Parade Cardstock, SU Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, SU Poppy Parade ink, SU Banner Punch, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch,

There's a Stamp for That Challenge #1-You're the reason that I smile card

I am just SO excited!! Today is the first challenge at my new Facebook group, There's a Stamp for That Challenge!!! I have missed my Flutter By Wednesday Challenge so much that I decided to start a new challenge! If  you're not a member, come on over and join in the fun!!

I wanted to make it so that every challenge there were several "themes or options" so that everyone can play along and not feel they have to go buy supplies for it (unless they want to and then just blame the challenge, I like enabling!!). With that being said, our first challenge themes are: Butterflies or Fairies or Hello.

I chose the butterflies and fairies as a fond memory of the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge and the hello is to say hello to new and old friends! 😊

For my card today I decided to go with the butterflies!! I recently got my first order from Reverse Confetti (I don't know why it took me so long), and I couldn't wait to ink up the Butterfly Blossoms stamp set!! I just {heart} that butterfly!!

I think it turned out so pretty!

Be sure to come join the fun and have a great day getting crafty!
