I had a looksie through my digis that were printed out already and found this fun one from Time for Tea Designs-Peace Out that peaked my interest and called for me to color her up and get her on a card!

I'm working on using up another 6x6 paper pad- Basic Grey-Sweet Threads so be prepared to see several "scrap" cards!

Birthday Present

The kiddos had their first day of school today, 9th and 5th grades-EEK, so I'm hoping that I can get back into a crafty groove. I miss creating daily so much! 

I have so many ideas in my brain that I didn't know where to start so I just started..LOL! I decided to get the images that I colored in June needed to be on cards so I am starting with Birthday Present from Whimsy Stamps. It's a pretty simple card but it at least helped me get started! I like the fun colors!!

I used an older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for my layout:

For my card today I used the new stamp from Time For Tea Designs called Violin Girl. I also used a sentiment from the Simply Stitched Circles set. I thought I was pretty clever using "Just a Note" sentiment..get it note, like music note?? okay moving on....

For my card today I used the new stamp, Geeky Glasses by Time For Tea Designs. I just LOVE her!! I also used the sentiment set, Girl Talk. For an accent I used the Country Heart Die.

I used glossy accents on her glasses and some stickles on her bow, just to add some fun touches to her!

Baseball Love

My goodness, it has been forever since I've created. Okay, not forever but two weeks which equals forever in my world. Last week was the kids spring break so I spent time with them vs. crafting. I must say we had a great time and one of the highlights was feeding alligators at the zoo!

Does anyone else feel "rusty" at coloring/putting together a card after they've taken time off? I sure do but figured I'd just dive in!

Many of my friends are excited for baseball season so I chose to color up the fun Baseball Love from Whimsy Stamps!

Cocktail Dress

Happy February!! Can you believe we're already through one month of the new year! January just flew by!

Today I had a snow day from work as we have quite a bit of snow and it's still coming down. It takes a lot for the zoo to close if that tells you anything. We like the snow so we're happy and I'm even happier I didn't have to drive in it!

What better to do on a snow day but craft!! Here's a card I just finished using the Whimsy Stamps, Cocktail Dress. I paper pieced her dress which was fun! I also used the Whimsy Stamps sentiment from Fun Life Tickets along with the Whimsy Ticket Die.

Winter Coat

Today I have a card for you using one of the newly released stamps from Whimsy Stamps, Winter Coat by Time For Tea Designs. What an awesome stamp!

I'm rather proud of my coloring on this stamp as I tried a new color combo for the reds. I've always struggled with reds and so when Crissy Armstrong offered me some advice on coloring them, I took it!! (check out her card HERE using reds, isn't it amazing!!)  I've never been brave enough to really use some of the darker reds but I can see now the depth it brings so hopefully I'll practice more and get better.
