We took a little break for the holidays at my group, There's a Stamp For That but we're back now!! Challenge #52 has the themes of Music or Snowflakes or Blue. 

Today's card uses the theme of Music. I have had this stamp set for years and was happy to finally pull it out and use it! It's retired but it makes me happy since both of my kids were in marching band.

Follow the music in your heart

I am really having fun getting these already colored images onto cards! 9 more to go!! Today's image is an old one from Saturated Canary. Krista Smith is the artist and although Saturated Canary is no longer in business she does have an etsy shop and a Patreon page too.

This image is called Dance Music. I love music so I was so happy to get it!! I kept trying to add things to my card but in the end I decided to just let the image shine all on it's own. I'm finding that most days I like the clean and simple cards more and more. They are so much easier to mail too!

Enjoy the little moments

Still working on using up my Basic Grey-Sweet Threads 6x6 paper pad. Getting closer but yet so far away..LOL!

This time I used a stamp from La La Land Crafts-Mod Marci. She's retiring so if you want her, you'd better get her ordered! I really enjoyed coloring her up and her hat is paper pieced.

For my layout I used an older Sweet Sunday Sketch, #258. I was tired when I was putting it all together so mine has a slight variation..hehe!

For my card today I used the new stamp from Time For Tea Designs called Violin Girl. I also used a sentiment from the Simply Stitched Circles set. I thought I was pretty clever using "Just a Note" sentiment..get it note, like music note?? okay moving on....

Some Odd Girl Bright Colors Challenge

I might not get this entered in time but it’s all good, I just wanted to play along “just because”. Some Odd Girl had a Facebook fun day today with lots of tutorials, discounts and other fun stuff. They also issued a challenge to create a card using any of their images and bright colors which I thought sounded fun so I had to play along.
I found Dancin’ Mae in my printed digi folder so I thought she’d be fun to color up!
