Thursday is here already! Time sure does move fast--don't blink!
For today's Spec-TAC-ular Thursday I decided to play with the cute set, English Everyday Cuties. So many sweet images and sentiments in this set, really a versatile set!
I used an older SCS sketch, SC239.
Don't forget to visit Michelle and see what spec-TAC-ular creation she has today!!
The little details~ English Everyday Cuties, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, TAC paper--sadly I don't know which collection as when we moved things got a bit mixed up-I am thinking it's a retired collection, stickles, Kaisercraft pearls,
Time to start the Spec-TAC-ular Thursday's again!! I'm not sure if Michelle is playing along this week or not but you should still check out her blog as there's lots of awesome creations to check out there!!
This week I wanted to play with a set from the Fall Supplement, Rolling By. I just think these little girls and boys are the cutest!! For my paper I used the Soar With It Collection, Kaleidoscope Brights. Such fun, happy papers! (This paper is retired but I got it with the So Big Promotion!)
For my layout I used an older sketch from Mojo Monday, from March 2009.
The little details~ Rolling By, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, Tombow Markers, Kaleidoscope Brights, nestabilities, Palette Beaux Arts Blue, Palette Jardin Moss, buttons, scrappers floss,
The last Thursday of 2010! How did that happen??
For my last Spec-TAC-ular Thursday I decided to use a set I've had for quite a while but was intimidated by it... True Beauty. I just love the butterflies on it and the Victorian/vintage feel the stamps have. I just hope I have done it justice.
The butterfly is stamped twice with on up on pop dots for dimension. I chose to keep the card very simple to show off the stamp.
(two different photos as one showed the embossing well, and the other showed the image well)
The little details~ True Beauty, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, cardstock, stickles, Cuttlebug script embossing folder,
Only 2 more days! Are you ready? I can't wait! I love seeing my kids open their gifts!! and to take time to remember the true meaning of Christmas too!
For this week's Spec-TAC-ular Thursday I decided to use the super cute set, Havin' A Ball. Fun little mice--a phrase I never thought I'd say about mice! LOL!
I used my cricut and Make The Cut software to make this cute tag.
Also, did you know that TAC has free downloads?? Yup, they do! Check them out HERE!! I printed out the paper dolls for Belle and she loved them!
The little details~ Havin' A Ball, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, cardstock, Cricut, Make the Cut software, CM cutting system and markers, stardust pens,
I can't believe it's Friday! My kiddos will be getting out of school today early (if they go as yesterday both were home sick) and then they're off for 2 weeks! Sam will be off too so it'll be fun to have lots of family time.
Because of yesterday's wonderful release at SCACD I pushed my Spec-TAC-ular Thursday back a day. Be sure to visit Michelle and see what she has to share as well!
For this week's creation, I decided to use one of my newest sets, Fundamental Frames. I love this set and the Fabulous Frames as they coordinate with the nestabilities. The sentiment inside is from one of my favorite sayings sets, Tag Tidbits.
This was a quick and easy card and I'll admit it, I was out of my element with not coloring on it. Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves to do things differently though!
The little details~ Fundamental Frames, nestabilities, cardstock, Palette Jardin Moss ink, Tag Tidbits, Palette Noir ink, scraps of Juliette paper and Angelee paper, Angelee ribbon, pearls,
Time to play with some TAC stamps!! Be sure to check out Michelle's blog to see what she's created too!!
For those of you who are friends with my on Facebook--you've already seen this, hehe--but for those who haven't, on Wednesday I decided I should change my name to Veruca Salts as I just want, want, want so many of the stamps being released! They are all so awesome!
A little reminder who Veruca Salts is~ See video HERE! (she's from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory).
While I was in the mood, I thought of the perfect stamp to create a card with today! This is from the set It's Your Day. Such fun, fun images!!
(and for the record, although I have days when I feel like Veruca, I really know I'm not quite that bad as I realize how blessed I am, how fortunate in more ways than I can count and I always try to pass along smiles to others.)
The little details~ It's Your Day, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, cardstock, stardust pens, Kaleidoscope Girlz, Martha Stewart punch, button, scrappers floss,
Time for another Spec-TAC-ular Thursday! Be sure to visit Michelle and see what she created for today too!(although she might not have a creation as her week is super busy, but visit her anyway! )

Onto today's Spec-TAC-ular Thursday. I'm not sure if Michelle has a post this week as she's not feeling well but pop over and leave her some love anyway!
This week I'm showing off the adorable set Lucy. Such a cute, cute set!! I'm skipping all the wordy details so if there's something ya wanna know, just email me and ask away!!
I am trying to use up scraps so I'm trying so new/different card sizes..I think it's kind of fun to see other shapes/sizes than the "norm". I figure if I send them I can alter an envelope or just put in a larger envelope with cardstock to fill the empty space.
The little details~ Lucy, cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, copics, Kaleidoscope Girlz, border punches, paper punches, button, marker, paper piercer, stickles, stardust pens, Catelynne Collection, scor-bug, Lemonade Blossoms and Buttons, scrappers floss,
It's Thursday so that means it's time for me to share with you some TAC! For those of you who might be new to my blog, TAC stands for The Angel Company. I have recently become an independent demonstrator for them--an angel.
My upline/friend, Michelle is also showing off some TAC today so be sure to visit her blog!
Today I am sharing with you creations using this month's SOTM--stamp of the month. What is a SOTM? it's a stamp set that you can purchase at a special discounted price during the designated month with a $30 purchase.
www.theangelcompany.net
This month's SOTM is such a cute set, Oh Happy Day! So many possibilities!
Here's a few things I came up with~
First I created a few corner bookmarks. What an easy but great gift idea!!
Next a few cards~ I love that TAC has cardstock, ribbon and hardware to match their paper collections. Makes it easy to coordinate a card! Another concept that I am loving is TAC's statement~~ simple. smart. sophisticated. I sometimes think we get so caught up in all the "stuff" of a card we lose focus of the image.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me!! Have a spec-TAC-ular day!
The little details~ Oh Happy Day, Memento Tuexdo Black, cardstock, copics, Fiskars border punch, TAC Finger Paints paper-retired, nestabilites, stickles, stardust pen, markers, TAC Juliette paper, ribbon, Prussian Blue Palette ink, TAC Lilly Anna paper, TAC Lilly Anna cardstock, cuttlebug embossing folder, TAC Lilly Anna ribbon, stencil, blue ink, Landscape Palette ink,
One of the fun things that I will start doing soon--(waiting on all my paperwork and starter kit)--is every Thursday will be Spec-TAC-ular Thursday. What that means is that each Thursday, Michelle --she's my upline--yay-- and I will be showcasing current stamp sets and projects so that you can get familiar with The Angel Company--TAC--and their wonderful stamps and products.
Until I get everything in order though, I will just be featuring some TAC projects on Thursdays.
