Sweet Dreams

Sam asked me to make a baby card for a co-worker who is expecting a baby girl any day now.

I discovered I really don’t have that many baby stamps but I do have a few so I chose this one from Belle’s n’ Whistles called Sweet Dreams. I paper pieced her shirt, diaper and socks.

Party Time Tuesday #9

I needed a birthday card for a friend so I thought I'd check out my friend, Kristie's, challenge~ Party Time Tuesdays~ and see what the challenge for the week was. I was happy to find it was an anything goes week you just have to have a birthday greeting or sentiment on the front of your card! 

I really should play along with her challenge more often as birthday cards are one of my downfalls. I always think about them and mean to make them but then never do. 

While looking for a sketch, I found that I can also enter this into the Dutch Dare Card Challenge #83 for the week as it's anything goes.

Beary Big Hugs

As I'm writing this post on Saturday evening, we have around 8 hours until we pick up Sam. I can't even describe how excited I am!! even though it will be 3 AM, it will be so wonderful!
I thought it only appropriate to use my new Belle's n' Whistles stamp, Beary Big Hugs as I know there'll be lots of hugging going on soon!! In our family we have "big squeezy hugs" and I thought this sweet girl looked like she was giving her bear a big squeezy hug!!
I added some sparkle to her headband, the bears heart and bow and also her bow with copic glitter pens.  
I looked around for a sketch as I just didn't know what I wanted to do and found an awesome one at Friday Sketchers!

I was stumped as to what to add to my flower centers and then I remembered my Prima card jewelry! They worked perfect! and I finally used my first Zva Creative Pearls!! LOVE them..will have to get more of them and the rhinestones and the Prima Say it in Pearls...oh my!
