Keep Cozy!

Today I have another card from last year when I was on the SCS Dirty Dozen team.

The October 2017 Fan Club theme was Creepy Crawlies. This card used the play on the theme of anything that gives you the shivers (cold weather, sickness, something spooky or scary, etc).

I used older Magnolia stamp, Chilly Tilda and Chilly Bench on the card.

As always, thanks for stopping by! I appreciate you taking the time to visit! Have a super day!

Tilda with Piglet

I started this card over two weeks ago, LOL! It was originally going to be for a challenge to create a winter themed card with a Magnolia stamp. Well, time passed and I've missed the challenge and the card sort of took a side trip away from being wintery! LOL!

I just think this little piglet with Tilda is so cute!! This is the first time I've used this stamp and I've had it for years..yay me for finally inking it up.

She's colored with copics and then fussy cut out along with the bench. I used some Memory Box Gossamer papers, SU punches and some sequins to complete the card.

Enjoy your day! I'm hoping to get some crafty time in today!

FBW #255

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another Flutter By Wednesday Challenge!! Be sure to visit the blog to see how you can play along and to see the other Flutter By Team members creations!!

We also are having a DT Call at FBW so if you think that's something you'd be interested in~ check it out HERE!!

Our challenge this week is Open~Anything Goes with a twist of using/showing your favorite things along with a butterfly or fairy!!

I know I'm going to shock my team as I bet they are all expecting a pink card with lots of sparkle as those are my favorite things but I went a different route~~ I used Tilda as an Animal Keeper as being at the zoo is definitely a favorite thing and I'd LOVE to be an animal keeper!!

I have to share that this card uses paper that I have hoarded for over 2 years...maybe longer. I just love it so much--it was hard to cut into it but I did it. LOL! Anyone else have some paper they just have a hard time using?

For my layout I used a sketch I had saved from a while back~

Hope to see you at FBW this week!!! and remember if we get over 100 entries then there is a prize!!

If all else fails-add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

Continuing on with my challenge to myself...

Still determined to finish the Basic Grey Olivia paper pad for my challenge to myself. Here's a few more cards that I came up with using it. I might go over my 2 week time limit but I think I'm getting closer to it being gone!

My first card uses a set from TAC, Cheery Thoughts--which was designed by Mabelle RO.

The next card uses one of the Tilda's that I have hiding away begging to get inky!

If you want any information about the cards, feel free to email me!

These bring the total so far to 10 cards from the same paper pad.

Tilda with Lace Jeans

I am finally feeling like crafting…been in a bit of a slump and forcing myself to do some but today, I finally really feel like it.
One of the paper choices that was mentioned in my question below was Taylored Expressions Choice cardstock so I thought I’d use one of my TE Key Ingredients Kits, April 2011 and try it out.
I have been itchin’ to use my Magnolia stamps as I haven’t used them lately so I picked one of my last purchases, Tilda with Lace Jeans.

I really liked this paper, very smooth and easy to blend and easier to cut the image out. Still have a few more papers to try before I decide though.

Paper Sundaes Challenge #84

This week at Paper Sundaes they want to see your creations using Magnolia stamps! Since I haven’t inked up my Tilda’s in a while I thought this would be the perfect reason to get at least one of them inky!!
I couldn’t make up my mind on which one to use so I had Belle chose and she chose my new Birthday Tilda.

SOG-Make a Scene

I really need more time in the day—doesn’t everyone!! Another challenge I always want to play along with is the Some Odd Girl Challenges. This week their challenge is to Create a Scene. At first I went ACK…because it sounded scary. LOL! I’ve created scenes with stamps before but not digi’s (I haven’t had a chance to order the clear SOG stamps) (SOG stands for Some Odd Girl) so I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do.

After I looked through my stamps, I found this little background scene from Magnolia and though it would work perfectly with Bu’Fly Tia. I kept the card simple to show off my little scene.

The little details~ digi- Bu’ Fly Tia, copics, ultrafine white sharpie poster paint pen, Magnolia butterfly background, corner rounder, cuttlebug Just My Type border embossing folder, Kaisercraft rhinestones, stickles

And I have to share~~ I’ve been Chibi’d!

I have seen several of my blogging friends with their cute Chibi’d avatars so I decided I needed one too!

I gave Kristy these photos of me to work with~

Time to flutter again! Be sure to visit the Flutter By Wednesday blog to see what this week's challenge is! and visit my Flutter By Team for lots of fluttery inspiration--links on my sidebar.

This week is an open week so I thought I'd use one of my Magnolia's that I had colored, Tilda with Hawaiian flower. I had to get several of these newer Tilda's out of the Butterfly Collection..it was just a must!

I used a scrap of paper that I found in my stash. Might have gotten a little bright but I thought it was fun.

ATC's....

A while back I was making ATC's, or also known as Artist Trading Cards to send with my RAK's-random acts of kindness. Then for some reason I stopped.

I decided that the ATC's would be a perfect project for me to work on while I'm in the midst of the moving process as they are small and easier to complete and then I'd have some done for when we get settled.

Here's a few that I started with~

The little details~ digi-Cupcake Anya, copics, scraps of paper and cardstock, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Crystal petal flowers,

The next one I followed a tutorial by Jody on how to make the window in Make The Cut. I seriously love that program! I think I was thinking wrong as far as what should be light or dark but I remedied the problem by just using the negatives from the cutouts for my window. Yay for mistakes! LOL!

The little details~ Cricut, Make the Cut, Longing Tilda, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, copics, scraps of cardstock, copic multi-liner, chalk, Martha Stewart punch, Cryogen Iridescent cardstock

Secretive Tilda

I know, I know, another post from me. Okay, I'll let you in on a secret. I have been addicted to playing games on Facebook lately. I finally took a look at how much time I was on there and wow...decided to stop cold turkey on the two biggest time wasters.

Soooo...that leaves me my time to create again..and it feels GOOD!! so this weekend I'm just having fun with whatever inspires me at that moment...just to get creating again!

I must admit that even thought I've been doing a few cards here and there, I haven't been practicing at the copic skills I have learned and I feel pretty rusty. Glad I have my second copic class at the Color Me Creative Classroom!

This card is for the Copic Challenge Group challenge for the week at SSC. The challenge is to create a card with Caucasian skin tones and brown hair with variations or highlights.

Thought this was the perfect time to use one of my poorly neglected Magnolias! I stamped the image twice and cut one out and added it on top of the other one which I sponged with ink first. I used another new paper pad, Kaisercraft Homemade 6x6.

I used the sketch from this week's Friday Sketchers #125. My layers are off a tad but they're still there.

A Touch of Christmas Thursday's # 6

It's time for another A Touch of Christmas Thursday's! Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog to see what she came up with!
I'm really trying to use up some of the images I already have colored so that's where I found all of these images. I made a few cards to make up for missing last week. I kept them pretty simple so they'd mail without extra postage.
I used a sketch from SCS, SC194 for the Snowbunnybella card.
