Hello Friend

I had so much fun trying out all my new goodies from Pink & Main!! I am in love with their foiling products and this new stamp set, Hey Hot Stuff is so cute and fun!!

I love that I was able to get amazing results on my first try with the Mini Minc! I may be hooked to foiling!!

I used the Big Posies Foilables along with the Flowers Silver CheerFoil and then the Flower Power Foilable Kit with the Fairy Wings Pink CheerFoil for all my foiled elements of my card.

I colored up the cute dragon from the Hey Hot Stuff stamp set and then put the card together. A pretty clean and simple card but wow, that foil really jazzes it up! I thought the top portion need a little something so I used the Many Flowers Embossing Folder.

I did add some glossy accents to the glasses as it's one of my favorite things to do! I wasn't going to add embellishments but then decided it needed something so I added some enamel dots from the Dragonfly Dreams Enamel Dots.

As I was looking through some challenge blogs I discovered that The Paper Players: PP651 was a Tic Tac Toe Challenge and I realized this card works for the top row across! Flowers, Green and Embossing!

You make me happy

I have almost always stayed away from color challenges or even just color inspiration in general because I thought it would be too difficult to create something. Silly, I know. Lately I've been trying to do a variety of cards and techniques instead of all the things in my comfort zone so I decided to play around with color. I love color. I really, really do!

In looking at some current challenges I saw that The Paper Players had a color challenge this week so I decided to dive in and play along!

Here's what I came up with~

The inspiration came from a card I saw on Pinterest. Yes, I know, I have an addiction to Pinterest. :)

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Always Be a Unicorn

Several friends of mine are doing the 100 Day Project. One friend is watercoloring each day for 100 days, another is stamping/coloring for 100 days and so on. I know I can't commit to 100 days right now but I thought I'd use a list that a friend shared to jumpstart my creativity.

This list is for scrapbookers in a group (I believe) called Scrapbooking is My Super Power. I just thought it was a fun list and it's different prompts than what my go to stamping themes are so I thought I'd use it for stamping. I found the list on Facebook on Shimelle's page.

The challenge started on April 1st but I'm just going to go through it as I can, mainly to see if it helps to get me creative! I'm not sure I have everything on the list either but we'll find out!

Day 1 is Unicorns! One thing I discovered, I need more unicorns in my life!! I decided the set from The Greeting Farm~ Be a Unicorn was perfect for this prompt!

It's a simple card but it at least got me crafty! Now hopefully I can keep the creativity rolling!!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~

You Shore are Sweet

Today I have another mermaid for you! It's another one that was just released from The Greeting Farm called Merisa Mermaid. This release was just simply amazing!!

I always like to try new copic color combos for hair and one of my go to sources are Amy's Anya Salon posts. This one is Autumn Sunset, what fun names she comes up with too!!

I also tried the out of the box technique with Merisa's tail. I messed up a tad but still thought it turned out good. I'm a bit rusty trying techniques so it's good to keep practicing and trying!!

I used an older sketch from The Paper Players.

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope your day is fabulous!

You're purrfect!

In my quest for cat stamps I discovered a new to me company, Clearly Besotted. Oh my word! They have some of the CUTEST stamps! I *had* to get their kitty cat set, You're Purrfect, (I got my set at Simon Says Stamp--linked below). I have a feeling that many more of their stamps will come to live at my house this year!

This is my first time using my MFT Blueprint dies for a card too. Wow does that help it go together quickly! More of those are going to have to come live at my house this year too!

Seriously, how adorable is that cat!!! {swoon} Can't wait to make more cards with this set for sure!!

For my card tonight I used this sketch from MFT~

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Here's a few cat photos to make you smile..okay, to help me smile!
