Continuing on with my Shop My Stash-Pigs, today I have a fun older digi, Augie the Piglet. It's another one from Saturated Canary so I'm not sure if Krista Smith has it in her Etsy shop or not. **Edited-It IS in her shop!! You can get it HERE!!

Still so fun to color up and look at that sweet piggy!! 

She was printed out pretty big so I played around with different sizes of cards and finally decided on a slimline card.

Pint Sized Love-Friends Forever

I found this adorable image in my printed digi box and just had to color her up. It's an older digi from Saturated Canary which is no longer around but I'm so happy that the artist, Krista Smith has an Etsy shop filled with wonderful images. 

Isn't she so cute with her kitty cat!! Love her! She was called Pint Sized Love when I purchased her years ago. Not sure if she's available still or not but there's lots of other great digis in Krista's shop! She also has a Patreon site which I just rejoined and am excited to get digis each month!

I had so much fun coloring up this digi and it sparked that joy that I get from coloring which just reminded me that I need to do it more!! LOL!

 I recently started going to the gym at 5 am to workout. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be one of those crazy people who do this but I'm finding that I love it! 

My mind is on different exercises and such so I decided to make a couple exercise/weight lifting cards. The first card uses an old digi from Saturated Canary. It is no longer in business but Krista Smith, the artist behind Saturated Canary, does have an Etsy shop and a Patreon site where you can find more of her fab images! 

I am no where near as in shape as this image but it does inspire me so hopefully it will inspire whoever receives it!!

Follow the music in your heart

I am really having fun getting these already colored images onto cards! 9 more to go!! Today's image is an old one from Saturated Canary. Krista Smith is the artist and although Saturated Canary is no longer in business she does have an etsy shop and a Patreon page too.

This image is called Dance Music. I love music so I was so happy to get it!! I kept trying to add things to my card but in the end I decided to just let the image shine all on it's own. I'm finding that most days I like the clean and simple cards more and more. They are so much easier to mail too!

Between the pages of a book...

I was going through my digis that are already printed out and came across several from Saturated Canary. I was so sad when Krista closed her shop but recently I found out she has a Patreon site (I haven't joined yet but it looks cool!) and she has an Etsy shop (where she has some of her older images through the end of July!!)! 

Not sure if this image, Reader, is still available or not but regardless I decided to color her up and get her on a card today! 

The sentiment inside reads: Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be.

Got Washi?

A friend at work mentioned how she loves washi tape. I have several packages of it that I've never opened and I just don't use it so I thought I'd make a card for her and give her the washi tape I have. 

I thought this fun digi from Saturated Canary, Washi Girl (not sure of the exact name and Saturated Canary is no longer selling digi stamps, although she does design for Make it Crafty), would be perfect.

I printed my digi a bit larger than I normally do since I knew I wouldn't be mailing the card. I kept it very clean and simple but am thrilled with how it came out and hope my friend will be too!!

Lily Bo Peep

I actually colored up this cute Saturated Canary digi, Lily Bo Peep, a few weeks ago but am just now getting her on a card. 

I fooled around with different designs for the card but in the end a clean and simple card won out so she could shine. I also spent way too much time trying to find the perfect sentiment and then decided to not put one on. LOL!

Pixie Dust

I totally loved having fun coloring this digi from Saturated Canary named Pixie Dust. She's sort of a funky little fairy, isn't she?

I loved how she turned out when I was done coloring but then I almost threw her away once I did the background. Blech. I do not like how it turned out at all. But I guess if you don't try new things and different things you'll never know if you like them or not, right?

The sentiment is from a stamp set I have from A Muse. I think my friend, Kristie was right about the Inlinkz product lists--I spend more time linking things up and finding them than it's really worth. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to share my supply lists--if I even want to--but always know you can just shoot me an email anytime if you have questions.

I just signed up for Alyce's Animal Class from Kit & Clowder. I'm excited to learn more about coloring animals as that is something I struggle with a lot. You can check it out HERE!

Kisses

Another very simple card for today as I printed the image too big but that's okay, I still like it and had so much fun coloring it!! The digi is from Saturated Canary and is called Kisses.

My interview went well today! I got a "Conditional Job Offer"!! I was given the choice between being a cashier or working on either the Skyfari or Tram. I figure you only live once so I chose the Skyfari or Tram! Because of the safety concerns and such, they need to do background checks and some other things but I should be an "official" zoo employee in a few weeks!

There are no words to describe how I feel. Beyond excited! My dream is becoming a reality! I'm just so happy!!!

It's been a very exciting day around here but I still found time to squeeze in some crafty time!!

It was exciting because Sam got a new-to-him car. Normally he buys vehicles that are cheaper, just a means to get from point A to point B but since he'll be driving a lot with the new job he got a nicer car and one good on gas!! Only one more week and he'll be starting the railroad job.

Anyway, back to the crafting. This is for another one of the Friday Challenges in my yahoo group. This is Challenge #5- Use black on your creation. 

I love this newer image, Denise by Saturated Canary but man, I really challenged myself in the coloring with the shades of pinks and gray's...hopefully I pulled it off!!

Color Me Wonderful..

Tidy Up

I haven't colored up a Saturated Canary image for a while so I thought I'd fix that today. I found this fun digi, Tidy Up, already printed out so I decided she'd be fun to use.

I colored her with copics and then paired her with some Echo Park-Country Drive papers. I added some doodling around the edge of the image in a very light pink marker, flowers, leaves from a die, butterflies, pearls and sparkle to finish the card.

This is the card I made for Annabelle for her birthday. She loves the color purple and she loves to jump rope so I thought this would be perfect for her. Comfy Slippers Fairy

Today's card uses another one of the newest fairies from Saturated Canary. I truly had the best time coloring her up~~ all that gorgeous hair!! I just was in the best mood, so excited to see her come to life and realized that once again, this is a true passion. I can't really put it into words but sometimes I feel I'm just wasting time by making cards but nope, coloring this up and creating this card made me realize, I'm not wasting time. I'm doing what I'm suppose to--following my passion.

I also had so much fun using a new-to-me copic color combo for her hair. I recently discovered Jennifer Dove's blog and her "Color Of the Day". It has helped me to see some new combos and have more fun!!  This hair color combo sounded sort of odd to me at first but now I think I will add it to my favorites! It is~ E35, E08. R59.

I also learned that I need MUCH more practice at transparent objects~~ like her wings as I almost ruined this whole thing when I got to them but some sparkle was able to rescue it!

Here's a little close up of her as I'm so proud of how she turned out! She's printed on Cryogen cardstock and it has a slight sparkle to it so that's the overall sparkle you see!

Finally! Got a card done! I've been working on this since last Saturday~~ I think that's the longest it's ever taken me to finish a card. But between celebrating Matthew's 12th birthday, getting in the routine of school/Sam's work and also starting back at Curves...I've been tired and busy!!
