To A Friend Like Gnome Other

I was so excited to get Sweet November Stamps latest clear stamps release into my hands!! Gnomes and scene builders and little fairy dancers, oh my!!

I'm always in awe at Amy's scenes, seriously she is my crafty idol, so I thought I'd try my hand at a scene, a very simple scene but a scene.

I used the Horizon Lines-SpringGned and GninaGneal and Gnorah and Falling into Fairwees stamp sets. I did some masking, some stenciling and some coloring and voila', the finished card. Not too shabby although there are some things that I would do different but I still like the finished result.

I added glossy accents to Gnina's coffee cup to make it a bit more realistic.

*edited to add that I totally forgot to photograph the inside of the card that says "To a Friend Like Gnome Other".*

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

Three for Tuesday- Tea for Two

It's time for another Three for Tuesday!! You can see my previous Three for Tuesday posts HERE! If you're new to my blog, Three for Tuesday is where I make 3 cards using the same stamp set.

This week I'm using Tea for Two from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Such a super cute set full of so many different stamps!!

I just had to ink up the cute bunny in the teacup first! soooo cute!! and that little ladybug just makes me smile!!

I'm really liking the Mojo Monday Sketches lately and used an older one for the layout on this first card.

For my second card I used several of the smaller stamps together. There really are so many possibilities with this set! I paper pieced the teapot and cup.

My third card uses that cute bunny in the cup again. I made my own background by using the other stamps in the set. Super fun!! I paper pieced the cup on this card too.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

There's a Stamp for That Challenge #4- Hope I'm not bugging you!

It's time for another challenge at my Facebook Group, There's a Stamp for That! Challenge # 4 is Ladybugs or The Colors: Red, Black and White (must have all 3).

I thought I'd do a ladybug for my first card! I looked through my stamps and found the adorable Pure Innocence Ladybug (retired) from My Favorite Things. She is sooo cute!! You can watch how I colored her, HERE!

After I picked out my paper I realized that I had chosen red, black and white so I'll be doing both themes with this card! Bonus!!

I used my MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX to die cut my image. Next I cut some white cardstock and my patterned paper with my most used dies, MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 1.

I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and made a fishtail at the end with my SU Triple Banner Punch. I added some Bo Bunny Jewels and then some Twinkle Stickles to the wings and voila' it was done!

Have a fabulous day!! If you're not a member already, why not come on over to my Facebook group and join in the fun!!

Bloom

I was in the mood to make a card but didn't know what exactly I wanted to do so I decided to look through my digi stamps that were printed out to see if anything caught my eye. This sweet digi, a freebie from Newton's Nook, caught my eye so I decided to color it up!

I had to get creative as I had originally printed this out as one image, to be cut into a rectangle but as I was coloring my copic picked up a purple blob from something and ruined my shadow coloring. I have to say I'm pleased with how I was able to save it!

I used an old Sweet Sunday Sketch for my layout, SSSC27.

I hope you have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!
