I don't know about you, but for me it's fun to go through stamps and find ones you'd forgotten about and get them inky!!

Splashing by
I had such a wonderful visit with my Dad and family, seems so odd to not be getting together with them today! But they had to leave to visit some other relatives so now it's back to our summer routine.
While my Dad was here we went swimming for the first time this year. That got me in the "summer time" mood so I thought Lily at the beach would be fun to ink up today! And this cute set is even on sale!! You know you want it!
I used a sketch I found at CPS-Card Sketches, CPS170.
Isn't Lily just too cute?? I used Viva Decor Transparent Gloss Gel on her goggles to make them appear more realistic.

A Touch of Christmas Thursday's # 6
It's time for another A Touch of Christmas Thursday's! Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog to see what she came up with!
I'm really trying to use up some of the images I already have colored so that's where I found all of these images. I made a few cards to make up for missing last week. I kept them pretty simple so they'd mail without extra postage.
I used a sketch from SCS, SC194 for the Snowbunnybella card.

Flutter By Wednesday #85
Welcome to another Flutter By Wednesday!! So glad you are here!
Our challenge this week is to use a circle or circles with your butterfly, fairy or angel!
Leave a direct link to your creation in Mister Linky, (I reserve the right to remove any links not appropriate or linked to blogs vs. entries.) If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW. Can't wait to see what YOU create!!
Please be sure to visit the Flutter By Team's blogs to see their wonderful fluttering creations! Links are on my sidebar.
Here's my creation for this week~
supplies:
I stamped Lily onto my cardstock with Memento ink and colored with copics. I cut Lily out with my nesties and while the image was still in the nestie I sponged ink around the edges.
I painted her wings with Pink Highlights Inspiration paint and accented her dress with Tutu Pink Inspiration paint.
Next I freaked out. LOL! I am so horrible at figuring out layouts for cards, so I went searching online and in my folder of saved sketches to see what I could find.
I finally found a great sketch at The Sweet Stop, an older one, you can see it here. And though I didn't follow it exactly, it was at least inspiration to get started! LOL!
I picked papers, embellishments and then put it all together. At the end I added stickles to the snowflakes, both on the image and the punched ones. I put the snowflakes and sentiment on popdots too for some dimension.

For Henry
I'm not a big fan of digi stamps as I just don't have the best luck with them but I had to purchase this cute digi for Henry. You can read about it here.
The kids colored one each and I made a card. I must admit, it was hard not to tear up while making this knowing why this image was made. I kept this card super simple as it's going in the mail.
Hug those near and dear to you!!

I thought Lily at the beach would be a fun set to use for red, white and blue. If it would stop raining here I know my kids would love to go swimming. Bad part of this area is having the monsoon~rainy season the end of June, beginning of July each year.
You can see the sparkle from the copic glitter pens in this photo a little bit.

Try It Out Tuesday #17~ Mom's Day
Our challenge this week was to create a Mother's Day card and gift. Hmm. I really had to think about this one.
My mom loves chicken themed items, hummingbird themed items and the color purple. Well, I can do the purple. But then I thought about it and she reads my blog so I couldn't post anything I made for her. So this is for an imaginary mom. Maybe it will inspire you to create something for your mom!
With summer coming, I thought it would be fun to do a summer themed card/gift. I chose to use my new Lily at the Beach set! Yup, Susana is carrying Pink Cat Studio stamps now!! I decided to make a card and then a bookmark as many Mom's would like a bookmark to keep their place while they are enjoying some summer sun. It might not be your traditional mom's day card/gift but I still bet Mom would like it!
For the card I used a sketch from SCS, SC211.
Don't forget to stop by Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see all the other design team members wonderful creations and also to see how you can play along!
Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
bookmark size: 2 1/2 x 5
stamps: Lily at the Beach, TAC Curls and Swirls-on inside,
paper: some I've had for awhile-I think it's Making Memories,
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMagic Tea Leaves,
others: copics ( Blonde 2 copic bundle), Petaloo Dazzlers, celery shimmerz, diamond stickles, corner punches,

Time to get them into cards.....
When I go to my friends house to color images, I come home and put them on my magnetic board on my cube that sits on my desk. Well, I can only stare at them so long before it annoys me and I have to make them into cards.
So that's what these cards are from....the images I colored at Jennifer's. I ruined one so into the recycling it went.
I'm taking a break from listing all the products I used but if you would like to know something, just ask!! The bunny stamp is from TAC-Some Bunny, The nesties are from Susana's store and the other two are Enchanted Lily from Pink Cat Studio.
