Hope Your Holiday Is Merry and Bright

Each Sunday Kraftin' Kimmie has a Christmas Challenge in their Facebook Group. I played along pretty faithfully for a while and then stopped. I'm going to do my best to start playing along again to use some of the cute holiday stamps in my stash!

Peony

It's time for another inspiration card for the Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook group! This week the designers were given the challenge of Vintage or Distressed or Shabby Chic. I'm not going to lie, I made a horrible face and went EEK when I saw those challenges. They are just not my style but I decided to give it a go and went with the distressed option and distressed the edges of my image and papers. 

I used the gorgeous Peony digital stamp. I just love the way she looks like she has a story to tell.

Hello Magnolia

Time for another Ching-Chou Kuik card! I'm having the best time bringing these images to life! For today's card I used the beautiful Hello Magnolia digi. 

I used a lighter color for her dress which is always a challenge for me since I like bright, bold colors but I thought it turned out so pretty. Good to break out of the norm once in a while.

I even dug out some flowers and some flat back pearls for this card. It just needed something. I really like how it turned out.

Missing You During This Social Distancing

**Very photo intensive post ahead!**

So many craft companies have been creating stamps during this uncharted territory that deal with social distancing/quarantine/etc. I wanted to send my co-workers some cards letting them know I was thinking of them so I started the first group of cards with a digi stamp from Stamp Anniething called Missing you during this social distancing. Isn't she awesome!

Since I was mailing these I kept them super duper simple and flat, plus I wanted to get them done and in the mail quickly. 

I really had fun coloring them up and coming up with different designs for the masks.

be Brave-be Strong

I recently joined a Happy Mail Swap in the La La Land Crafts group on Facebook. Easy peasy, make a card using La La Land Crafts products and send it to your partner. We all need some happy mail during this time!!

I colored this up on Day 20 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I have to say I'm impressed with myself that I was able to do the whole 30 days this time!

I chose to color up Bohemian Marci for my card. She's from the March 2017 kit. I had fun adding a pattern to her clothes with my prismacolor pencils. I've got to remember to try that more often!

I hope my partner likes the card as I'm pleased with how it turned out!

Some Odd Girl New Release Day 5- Blue Moth

Dashing

Holiday/Winter cards. Sigh. I really don't mind making them. Love to receive them. Totally suck at getting them made in time for Christmas. I am accepting the fact that some years I don't mail any out and other years I buy some, and then some years it's only a few that go out. I hope that my friends and family know I always have the best intentions! 

I seem to find my holiday spirit abo a week before Christmas and then I make quite a few holiday/winter cards so here we go! 

I decided to start with the retired set Dashing from The Greeting Farm. Such cute lil' reindeer. It also has some great sentiments with it! Why have I only used it once before?? {shaking my head}

It was fun to make three cards all with the same stamp set and same designer paper! I guess the Four on Friday series is really rubbing off on me--even though this was only three!
