Painter Mae
I used Painter Mae and a paint chip to create my card. (have you seen Kristy's card using Painter Mae-oh my-check it out HERE!)
I colored Painter Mae with copics and then cut her out. The rest of the card was simple--a paint chip, some candy dots and an old TAC sentiment.
I really like how this turned out! Thank you Some Odd Girl for challenging me to think outside the box!!
I'm entering this card into the following challenges~

In a rut…
Does anyone else get into a rut like that? I decided to stop and take some time to cruise through blogland and SplitCoast Stampers to really look at the cards that catch my eye. What makes them stand out? Why do I like them? how can I improve my own? We’ll see if it helps any..LOL!
Today I am using an digi from Some Odd Girl- Cowgirl Mae. I colored her last week at the new stamp group I went to. I wish I had colored either her hair or shirt different as they sort of blend together but I made her shirt sparkly so maybe it would stand out. Once I colored her with copics I cut her out and added some stickles for some sparkle.
As I was getting ready to put the card together I decided to see what the challenge this month was at Some Odd Girl and discovered it was a sketch so I decided to play along.
Here’s the sketch~
I thought My Mind’s Eye-Lime Twist-Fly A Kite designer papers would be fun with Cowgirl Mae. I’m pleased with how the card turned out. I kept thinking it needed one more somethin’ but couldn’t figure out what so I just left it.
Have a wonderful day full of smiles!

Brella Fairy
I think I was trying to hard on my coloring on this image. Practicing things I’m learning in the Created From Color class. Sigh…I guess that’s how you learn though is to keep practicing, trying and learning. It’s not horrible but it’s not as I pictured it either!
When looking for a layout idea I remembered that the current challenge at Some Odd Girl is a sketch so I decided to give it a go!

The little details~ digi-Brella Fairy, copics, Basic Grey Picadilly, corner rounder, CTMH retired ribbon, stardust stickles, Doodlebug Mini Jewels,
copics used- E000, E00, E11, R30. R20, C1, G46, G43, G40, BG15, BG18, E99, E97, Y11, Y21, B05, B04, B02, B01, B000

SOG-Make a Scene
I really need more time in the day—doesn’t everyone!! Another challenge I always want to play along with is the Some Odd Girl Challenges. This week their challenge is to Create a Scene. At first I went ACK…because it sounded scary. LOL! I’ve created scenes with stamps before but not digi’s (I haven’t had a chance to order the clear SOG stamps) (SOG stands for Some Odd Girl) so I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do.
After I looked through my stamps, I found this little background scene from Magnolia and though it would work perfectly with Bu’Fly Tia. I kept the card simple to show off my little scene.
The little details~ digi- Bu’ Fly Tia, copics, ultrafine white sharpie poster paint pen, Magnolia butterfly background, corner rounder, cuttlebug Just My Type border embossing folder, Kaisercraft rhinestones, stickles
And I have to share~~ I’ve been Chibi’d!
I have seen several of my blogging friends with their cute Chibi’d avatars so I decided I needed one too!
I gave Kristy these photos of me to work with~
and here’s my Chibi’d me! I just {heart} it!!
Have a happy day! I *might* be back later with another card!
