Here we are at Day 5 of my Christmas in July!! I know I'm surprised I've made it this far with the holiday cards but I am having fun so hopefully I can keep it going!!

Loo Loo Ballerina

I started this card a week ago. Little did I know all the mess that would happen this week with my ankle. Finally today I got answers at least. I go in next Friday, the 19th, for surgery on my ankle. The recovery time is looking like 4-6 weeks. I'm very hopeful that after a few days I will be able to be in my craft room but we'll just have to see. 

Until then I'm going to do what I can to create, create, create and schedule some posts during my recovery. 

I was going through my digi stamps recently and found this little pig that I don't think I've ever colored up so I printed her out. She's just so darling! I mean what could be cuter than a pig in a tutu!!

Zoey

Howdy!! Hope today finds everyone doing great! We're getting our first glimpse of winter--cold and windy with a chance of a "wintery mix". I really do like winter, but it does take a bit to adjust to the cold.

After I finished my Echo Park Springtime 6x6 paper pad, I decided to challenge myself. My challenge to myself is to finish 9 more 6x6 paper pads and then I can get a new one! I am cheating a bit by choosing paper pads that are partially used but regardless, I'm up for the challenge and for having fun!

The next paper pad I'm working on using up is my Basic Grey Sweet Threads. There isn't much left to it as far as full sheets but tons of scraps so this really could be a challenge!

Today's card uses that paper and a digi from Whimsy and Stars Studio-Mabelle RO- called Zoey. I tried to find it in her digi shop but didn't see it.

I also used a sentiment and die from Whimsy Stamps- Fluttering By and Butterfly Frame Die. 

I have to say that I really love how this one came out. I don't always like my cards but this one will be hard to part with!

The sketch I used is one I had saved to my computer and I'm not quite sure where it came from to give credit.

Snowman and Girl

Time for some Whimsy & Stars Studio cuteness!! This cute digi is Snowman and Girl~ perfect for those winter cards!! 

I colored the image with copics and a few CTMH markers and then got sparkly!! I used sparkly fluff on the trim, some Martha Stewart mica flake glitter for the snow and then Martha Stewart carrara marble glitter for the snowman. I then paired the sparkly image with some papers from Crate Paper-Snow Day, then added some snowflakes and rhinestones to finish the card.

Have a happy Monday! I'm off on a new adventure today...buying new clothes so that I can start looking for a part-time job. EEK!! So scary after all this time as a stay-at-home mom but we really need the extra income. Wish me luck!

Snowy

I think I finally found a little bit of my mojo so hopefully the more I create, the more it'll come back!!

Here's my card using the newest release from Whimsy & Stars Studio~ Snowy. 

Isn't this just the most fun snowman? Although I don't think he should stand by that fire too long!! 

He's colored with copics with touches of stickles on the trim. I used liquid applique for the marshmallow and heated it with my heat gun to give it the puffy look.

Faith Flowers

I am so happy to be back designing for Whimsy and Stars Studio! I've always loved Mabelle's images and was on her team before but then took a little break but I'm back for another term! Yay!

For today's card I used the very pretty, Faith Flowers. 

I'm so ready for autumn that I colored her up in autumn like colors. She's such a versatile stamp!! (I used Cryogen Iridescent cardstock to print her on and it has a sparkle so that's what you're seeing in the photo. I tried to get one that didn't show as much sparkle but it wasn't cooperating!)
