I got your back!

This image, I got your back , from the last release by Victoria Case for SCACD is just the cutest! I love the little penguin! Now wouldn't that be a fun story to tell about sledding with your lil' penguin friend?

I thought it would be fun to use the Hanging Holiday Sled from My Time Made Easy to put this cutie on. I used my Make The Cut software and cricut to create the sled.

I used my nesties to cut out this fun image and then I added some sparkly fluff to her earmuff and some Polar White Flower Soft for snow. I also added touches of sparkle with my copic glitter pens.

I finished off my sled with some pretty poinsettias from Petaloo. I love how this turned out. I think it'll be a decoration this year in my house!

Today I'm sharing with you the new Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Mini Winter Sampler image, Bundle of Love. This image is so cute, so fun and so full of possibilities!

For my first card I stamped the image twice, cut one out and popped it up on a pop dots for dimension. I thought I'd make this little bundle a little girl so I colored her in pink. I paired her with the oh so fun Crate Paper Snow Day Collection paper. I also added some of the gorgeous Polar White Flower Soft to the image before I added the second image. I finished the card up by adding some snowflakes and some Smooch Illuminate to the bell and star and edges of the snowflakes. I also added a bit of bling to the center of the snowflakes, Kaisercraft pink rhinestones.

For the next card I wanted this little bundle to be a boy so I went with blues. I also thought that it would be fun to add some Baby Boy Blue Sparkly Fluff to make it really cuddly! I paired this cutie with Basic Grey Oliver paper. To finish the card I added some buttons and doodling.

For my last card today I decided that this sweet image was just screaming to be paper pieced! I used Cosmo Cricket's Mitten Weather, such a fun stack of paper! I used my nestabilities to cut the image out. To make it a bit more festive I added touches of Silver Flower Soft. I went around my nestie shape with an American Crafts silver metallic marker. To finish off the card I added some metallic dew drops--discounted right now!.

Now you should continue hopping on to Aud's fabulous blog! and don't forget to go shopping!!! And for you in Europe you can shop at Quixotic Paperie and in Canada at Art Du Scrapbooking.

Pearl Princess gets her sparkle on

Have you seen the new Silver and Gold Flower Soft? No? Well be sure to take time to check it out as it's wonderful!

I wanted to play around with it a bit so I chose one of the latest images from the Carmen Medlin Reflections #1 release, Pearl Princess. I felt a gorgeous mermaid should be sparkly. I used some Viva Decor Glitter Liner on the bubbles. I used my copic glitter pens to add some sparkle to her hair and the shells/gems decorating her hair and tail.

For my papers I chose the gorgeous Prima Fairy Flora...I seriously {heart} this paper!! To finish the card I added some flowers and then made some pearls with my Viva Decor Light Blue Pearl Pen. (I accidentally smashed one of the pearls but it still looks pretty in real life)

I'm entering this in the Crazy 4 Challenges #62-Make a square card

Try It Out With a "T" #86

Our challenge today is Grrrranimals! Use an image that has an animal on it and also add some fun texture.

Be sure to visit Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see what the other design team members came up with.

I really wanted to use one of the newest images by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD that were just released so I'm "stretching" the challenge a bit and saying that the sweet little teddy bear is my animal. Hehe! My texture comes from adding some flower soft to one set of the flowers.

Today our challenge was to use any new Victoria Case for SCACD Aurora 2 Collection stamp and also Flower Soft!

Be sure to visit Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see the other wonderful design team member's creations!

As I sat here sweating in this summer heat, I saw my Autumn Flower Soft and decided it would be nice to dream of cooler days and do a more autumn themed card. I used the sweet Aurora stamp, Bee Mine.

I used an older SCS sketch, SC255 for the inspiration for the layout.

While you're over at Susana's shopping, be sure to add some of the new Cuttlebug embossing folders into your cart!! These look sooo much fun! I know I'll be ordering some soon!

I stamped sweet Aurora and her mousie twice then cut one out and popped it up on pop dots for some dimension.

To make the lil' mousie even more cute I added some Koala Grey Ultrafine Flower Soft. I used Viva Decor Transparent Gloss Gel on the flowers on her hat and then put some Viva Decor Glitter Liner as highlights to them and the other flowers and butterfly.

Have you heard??

There's a new challenge blog in town!! Oh, Alice! My blogging friend, Jess, loves all things involving Alice in Wonderland so she took her love and turned it into a challenge blog!

Their first challenge was posted on Saturday~~ Chapter One: Down The Rabbit Hole.  The first challenge is an inspiration one and one involving glam...how could I not play along!!

I must admit I was stumped at first as to what to do and then it hit me in the middle of the night that I could use Lost In Thought, as she could be glammed up and the mushrooms went along with the inspiration piece.

So here's my creation~~  I stamped the mushrooms twice and popped one set up on pop dots for dimension. I also used the new Smooch Illuminate on the mushrooms, so pretty! I also used the new color of Smooch Spritz, Spun Sugar on the designer paper--hard to photograph but it has a beautiful shimmer now too.

lots of shimmer and sparkle!!

Before I forget, be sure to check out the new goodies in Susana's store!!

TIOT #40- Table Time

Our challenge this week was Table Time! Create something for the holiday (fall or winter) table--place settings cards, menus, favors, centerpieces, etc!
Be sure to visit Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see the other design team members fabulous projects and also to see how you can play along!
I decided to use several images from the latest Victoria Case for SCACD release, The Winter Wonderland Collection.
I thought that this coaster box, would make a fun centerpiece for a winter table. You could fill it with peppermints, flowers, chocolate kisses, etc.
I had planned on going to the store to get something fun to fill this with but my Belle has been running a fever and I didn't really want to take her out so I used this to put some hot chocolate packets in. I thought it might be fun if you lived somewhere it was really cold to have this on the table after playing in the snow along with a tea pot of hot water and you could warm up!!

supplies:
stamps: Winter, Cocoa Puff, Snow Fun, Skater,
paper: Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses,
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black,
others: corner rounder , 4 inch square chipboard coasters, copics, copic glitter pens, sugar sparkly fluff, cotton candy pink sparkly fluff, Martha Stewart crystal fine glitter, glitter clean up cloth, opal shimmerz, Winter Frost Inspirations paint, icicle stickles, polar white flower soft, snowflake punch,

Victoria Case for SCACD Winter Wonderland Blog Hop

I'm so excited that today is finally here! I've been dying for these CUTE Victoria Case for SCACD Winter Wonderland Collection to be revealed! I think this is one of my most favorite releases yet!!

If you're starting here, you need to go to Susan's blog to start at the beginning of the hop! After you see her amazing creation, come back here! Then once you are done here, hop on over to Suzanne's blog to see what magnificent project she has to show you!!

These stamps will be released tomorrow at Susana's store! You will NEED to have these!!
Now onto what you came here for..to see the cute images! I have the sheer delight of introducing Winter to you! Isn't she a doll? and look at that cute puppy~~ you know I love puppies!!

For this blog hop we had a twist to follow...we had to create a project with our wonderful images. With the holidays coming, there are so many things you could use these for~~treat bags and tags, notepads, etc.

I think it's no secret that I struggle with projects but I tried to approach this one with optimism as I simply adore the stamps so I figured it would be fun. Well, then my head felt like it was going to explode with the possibilities so I finally decided on one..LOL! I took an empty clamshell case that some of my TAC stamps came in--but you could use any sort of little box--and I decorated it and made some gift tags to go inside. ( I got this idea from my dear friend, Michelle, just she used the smaller clamshell box) You can't see very well from the photos but I stamped pink and blue snowflakes ,that come with the entire sheet of these awesome images, on the tags.

supplies:
box size: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2
stamps: Winter,
paper: Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses,
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMagic Pixie Dust, VersaMagic Sea Breeze,
others: copics, glitter clean up cloth, copic glitter pens, corner rounder, sugar sparkly fluff, CM fine tip markers, Polar White flower soft, Cricut tags, bags and boxes cartridge, ribbon,

Be sure to follow the hop onto Suzanne's blog and also be sure to come back tomorrow to see more projects with these adorable stamps!
