Today I have a card using a digi from Elisabeth Bell called Beauty.

Since she had a pretty shirt on I pictured her as a magical mermaid that could be out of the water for a little bit, so she's on a sandy beach.

Bunny Bunting

Hello there! Hope everyone is doing fabulous! I've been working quite a bit and then our "sleepy couch" has been capturing me every night around 7:30 so I haven't been creating much but I have several days off so it's crafty time!!

Today I have a card using a little cutie from Whimsy Stamps. This is Bunny Bunting by Elisabeth Bell. So darling!

I used an older sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for my layout. I feel a bit rusty so thought a simple sketch was the way to get into the groove!

Tummy Time Set

I didn't think I *needed* the new SU Curvy Keepsake Box Die but then I kept seeing project after cute project being made with it so I went ahead and ordered it. I must say it is an adorable little box and it really does have tons of possibilities!!

Here's my first box made with the die. I've been in a bright color, springy sort of mind so that theme is carried over here!

I decided my pretty little box needed a card with it so I went through my stamps and decided that Tummy Time by Elisabeth Bell from Sweet Pea Stamps would be a perfect match for my little box.

It really was fun to put together a little "set" and I hope to do it more often!!

Thanks for visiting and I hope your week starts off with lots of happy things and smiles!

Skippydee and Indiana

Happy Friday! We made it through another week!!

Today's card uses another sweet stamp from Whimsy Stamps, Skippydee and Indiana by Elisabeth Bell.

These are the first photos I've edited on my new laptop with the newest Photoshop Elements software. My old laptop had version 7 on it, this laptop has version 13!! I found it pretty easy to use and I can tell that they've really improved it. So fun!

I'm adjusting to the new laptop okay. It's smaller than my old one and getting use to Windows 8 is actually going better than I anticipated, whew!

Have a super fabulous Friday and thanks for stopping by!

Sending you sunshine!

I made a card not too long ago with this adorable stamp, Apple Blossom, but truthfully I just didn't like the coloring job I did so I thought I'd give it another go. Happily I like how this time around turned out! :) I did find it interesting that I almost chose similar "tree" paper this time as I used last time, but in the end it didn't work with this version.

I also used a sentiment from The Good Life Tickets set and the Ticket Die.

Have a super wonderful day! I'm excited because today my new laptop arrives. I know it will be a huge learning curve but hopefully I can figure it out quickly.

Thanks for stopping by!

Apple Blossom

I love autumn--think I've shared that a few times {wink, wink}. Today almost felt like we jumped from summer to winter though as it was so windy and downright cold! There is actually a freeze warning for tonight. Brrr...

Although I can't hold onto autumn in real life, I sure can make some autumn cards!! Tonight the sweet Apple Blossom by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps called my name! I know she could be used year round but I went with some autumn colors. I also used the fabulous Everyday Moments set by SC Designs for Whimsy Stamps and Whimsy Shapeology Corner Dies on my card.

Here's what I came up with~(the colors really do go together better in real life, they just didn't photograph well)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~
Thanks for stopping by today! I'm excited because Sam is coming home for a few hours this weekend, then back to Montana for another week and then he'll be switching to working in Minnesota which is MUCH closer which means we'll see him longer on the weekends! Yay!!

Pinkie Little's Butterfly Net

My Annabelle stayed home sick with a bad cold today so I had a chance to do a little crafting. Luckily she seems to be doing better, just in time for her birthday tomorrow! I can't believe she's going to be 10!!

I couldn't wait to ink up the newly released Pinkie Little's Butterfly Net by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps! I also am really trying to take my time with my cards and have a new "formula" I'm trying to follow so that I am using my supplies.

My new "formula" is to have an image, a sentiment and to use at least one punch or die. Hopefully I can stick with it because I like how it challenges me to think outside my normal card routine.

I also used Whimsy's Frame of Thanks sentiments by SC Designs and the Mini Picture Frame Die, also by SC Designs.

You might want to watch for flying pigs too as I used an older Fiskars border punch on this card that hasn't seen daylight in years and also one of my distress inks and flowers that have been buried in drawers!! Go me!

I decided to try out the InLinkz project manager and must say I've been pleased with how easy it is to use. I *may* have been a bit giddy when I discovered that my favorite butterfly punch is not discontinued like I thought it was! I almost feel I should buy a spare so I have one if mine ever breaks. Yes, true hoarder here!
