For my card today I used the new Love and Kisses With Tia stamp from Mi Ran! 

I also used the Everyday Moments stamp set for the sentiment. I am finding I grab this sentiment set often!!

A little public service reminder today too--back up your computer files! I hadn't done my back up in a while and yesterday my laptop wouldn't start. I finally got it started but in the process lost everything. In the grand scheme of things, I got lucky it was only a few digis, some SVG files, some spreadsheets, some music, but still...it could have been avoided so be sure you're backing up your files!!!

Howdy!! Hope today finds everyone doing great! We're getting our first glimpse of winter--cold and windy with a chance of a "wintery mix". I really do like winter, but it does take a bit to adjust to the cold.

After I finished my Echo Park Springtime 6x6 paper pad, I decided to challenge myself. My challenge to myself is to finish 9 more 6x6 paper pads and then I can get a new one! I am cheating a bit by choosing paper pads that are partially used but regardless, I'm up for the challenge and for having fun!

The next paper pad I'm working on using up is my Basic Grey Sweet Threads. There isn't much left to it as far as full sheets but tons of scraps so this really could be a challenge!

Today's card uses that paper and a digi from Whimsy and Stars Studio-Mabelle RO- called Zoey. I tried to find it in her digi shop but didn't see it.

I also used a sentiment and die from Whimsy Stamps- Fluttering By and Butterfly Frame Die. 

I have to say that I really love how this one came out. I don't always like my cards but this one will be hard to part with!

The sketch I used is one I had saved to my computer and I'm not quite sure where it came from to give credit.

Valerie's Spring Rain

Goodness! Time does really seem to just fly by these days! I don't know that I'm really all that busy but at the same time it does feel that way! Anyhoo, onto a card for today!!

I am still on my mission to use up the Echo Park Springtime 6x6 paper pad. I thought for sure this card would do it but nope, still have enough scraps for one more card. So very close!! LOL!

This card uses a cutie pie from Whimsy Stamps called Valerie's Spring Rain by Crissy Armstrong. Oh so very adorable!! I also used the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Everyday Moments stamp set by SC Designs. 

  

I almost thought I was going to have to start over because as I was coloring up the image, I got the dreaded copic blob.

I really liked how the image was looking so far so I decided to see if I could save it. I *think* I did a fairly good job with the help of some paper piecing! Here's the end result~

Pinkie Little's Butterfly Net

My Annabelle stayed home sick with a bad cold today so I had a chance to do a little crafting. Luckily she seems to be doing better, just in time for her birthday tomorrow! I can't believe she's going to be 10!! 

I couldn't wait to ink up the newly released Pinkie Little's Butterfly Net by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps! I also am really trying to take my time with my cards and have a new "formula" I'm trying to follow so that I am using my supplies. 

My new "formula" is to have an image, a sentiment and to use at least one punch or die. Hopefully I can stick with it because I like how it challenges me to think outside my normal card routine.

I also used Whimsy's Frame of Thanks sentiments by SC Designs and the Mini Picture Frame Die, also by SC Designs.

 

You might want to watch for flying pigs too as I used an older Fiskars border punch on this card that hasn't seen daylight in years and also one of my distress inks and flowers that have been buried in drawers!! Go me!

I decided to try out the InLinkz project manager and must say I've been pleased with how easy it is to use. I *may* have been a bit giddy when I discovered that my favorite butterfly punch is not discontinued like I thought it was! I almost feel I should buy a spare so I have one if mine ever breaks. Yes, true hoarder here!

Picked Sweet Summer Song

I'm having fun crafting this weekend, sure hoping I can keep it up during the week as it makes me happy!!

I noticed that lately I feel like all my cards are the same and that I have fallen into that same lazy rut so I'm trying to make more of an effort to get off my duff and USE what I have---dies, punches, embellishments, etc!! Hopefully that will help!

Today I colored up another new Whimsy Stamp, this time one by Elisabeth Bell called Picked Sweet Summer Song. I am in a happy mood and I think it shows by the bright, happy colors I used. I also used the awesome sentiment set, Everyday Moments by SC Designs for Whimsy.

The Whimsy Stamps Facebook Challenge for June is~ Just Beachy~ I thought that sounded fun so here's my card for it!

I used the oh so adorable new Sunny Ginger Meadows by Elisabeth Bell for my image. I just love this stamp!! I also added a tag with a fun saying from the Whimsy Stamps Girl Talk Sentiment set by SC Designs! I have to say this is my most favorite sentiment set that I've seen lately! soooo much fun! Just lookie all that's in it~
