Happy World Cardmaking Day!!
We just got back from going to the Farmer's Market for a free pony ride for Belle. She is in LOVE with horses so this was the perfect timing for this. She absolutely loved it! I was surprised they were bareback but she did great!!
Now I'm off to find some coffee to warm up (fall weather has finally hit! that breeze was cold!!) and then I'm getting crafty!!
Enjoy your day!!! and I hope to be back later with a card or two to share!
If all else fails-add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

You spin me right round….
Ever feel like you’re going in circles but getting nowhere fast? That’s how I feel the past few days!
A quick, short version update on the decision we had to make as a family--we had 48 hours to decide if we wanted to put in a request to transfer duty stations to…Germany! We’ve been there before and loved it but it’s a big move with lots to think about so that’s what the decision was. And for those that are curious, we decided to go for it. Now we just wait a month or so to find out if the army wants us to go there or not.
I also attended a new to me stamping group Wednesday which was very fun but also put me behind on getting creations ready for this lil’ old blog. But I do have some images colored and ready to go~
I hope to have some time over the next few days to get these onto cards and share with you all. Until then, be sure to check back on Friday for some SCACD FUN!!
Ohh, I do have a photo of my little Dorothy to share too. We didn’t go trick or treating but instead went out to dinner and for some frozen yogurt which we all enjoyed.
Have a happy day/night--whatever it is for you when you read this and see you back here soon!

Locks of Love and a new Lego set
When we were in El Paso, Belle had a friend who donated her hair to Locks of Love. Unknown to us, Belle had set her sights on doing the same. A few weeks ago she told me what she wanted to do so we looked into the requirements--hair has to be at least 10 inches long and then today we went and she had her hair cut and donated!
I’m so proud of her!! She looks so different without her long hair but oh so cute with her new do!
Before~
After~
And then while we were out, Matthew used his Christmas money and got a new HUGE Star Wars Lego Set, he’s so excited to build it and play with it~
I’ll be back soon with a crafty creation, just had so share our fun day!

Merry Christmas!
I hope that you are all having a wonderful day, whether you celebrate Christmas or not!!
This has been a wonderful Christmas for us! We started a new tradition of building a gingerbread house--from scratch!!
And an old tradition of opening movies on Christmas eve!!
And then the fun of seeing what Santa brought!!
Enjoy your day! I’m excited that we have no plans all week so I can get back into the swing of being crafty!!

Love the Lodge!!
The Great Wolf Lodge that is!! We went to the Lodge for a summer get-away and we loved it so we gave the kids the choice of either going back or getting presents…they chose to go back so on Tuesday we left for the lodge and returned last night.
We all had such a fabulous time!! Truly, if you ever have the chance--go!! Christmastime at the lodge is magical!! So many pretty decorations and lights and they even make it snow inside!!
Santa was also there and I must say he was the best Santa ever!! Belle told him she wanted an American Girl Doll (even though the lodge was our gift--Santa still is bringing gifts)…and this Santa told her what nice dolls they were and all the accessories and well, let’s just say--I believe!!!
Anyhoo, since we were away I don’t have any new creations to share today but I’m going to get started on something tonight!!
Hope your holiday season is truly magical and happy!! I’ll be back soon with something crafty to share!

Another original Belle drawing
Just wanted to post this real quick—mainly for my Mom—Hi Mom!
Here’s the picture that Belle worked on today, a drawing of Dora. I know I’m a bit partial but I think she did awesome for a 6 year old!
