Reading/Book Swap Times Two

Today I have two cards I created for a recent swap with the theme of Reading/Books!

I thought I'd continue on my Mojo Monday Sketch journey and use Sketch #3!

I chose the Newton's Nook Sips & Stories stamp set and the Newton's Nook Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad for my cards. 

There's quite a bit going on with this sketch and I changed a couple things but I think you can still see the sketch in my cards.

Final Farewell To Summer Collab- Tides of Love

My friend Teresa and I had so much fun with our last collab that we decided to do another one! For the month of August we are going to have a Final Farewell to Summer Collab each Wednesday! 

Today I did another 1 stamp set, 1 paper pad, 1 sketch set of cards! I used Mojo Monday Sketch #77!

I still just love creating these sets of cards with this "formula"!

Mojo Monday Sketch #543 Swap Times Two

One of the swaps in my group last month was to create a card using Mojo Monday Sketch #543. One of the members had a medical issue come up so I made two cards, one for my partner and one for their partner.

I decided to use the MFT One-Of-A-Kind Friend set and the Not 2 Shabby Summer Donuts 6x6 paper pad for both of my cards. I think they turned out so fun and I hope they make the receipents smile!

Create It Three Ways Collab IG Hop-Birthday Mice

Yesterday I was in another Create It Three Ways Collab IG Hop! You are given a theme and then you create 3 cards with that theme and a product/color/die/etc. It reminds me of my Three for Tuesday series I had for awhile which I enjoyed! 

The theme for this month is Birthday! I like what I did last month creating 3 cards using the same stamp set, paper and sketch so I think that is what I will try to do each month!

I chose my sketch first and decided to continue on my journey to use the Mojo Monday Sketches in order so I'm using Mojo Monday Sketch #2 for my cards today!

For my stamp set and papers I chose to use Newton's Nook Birthday Mice Stamp Set and the Newton's Nook Birthday Party 6x6 Paper Pad!

June Crafter of the Month Loaded Envelope

Today I'm sharing the loaded envelope that I created for the Crafter of the Month for June in my swap group. You can see all my loaded envelopes HERE!! 

I put the "usual" items in it, die cut shapes, ephemera, some enamel dots, a tag, etc.

For the card I used a Mojo Monday Sketch, #532.

I really like this sketch and know I've used it before, and I'll use it again! LOL! Love this sweet skunk from the MFT Sweet Skunks stamp set!

Crafter of the Month May 2023 Loaded Envelope

I got really far behind with all the curveballs in May so I'm playing catch up this month! Here's the loaded envelope I created for the May Crafter of the Month in my swap group! 

I filled it with the normal things I usually used- die cut shapes, ephemera, etc.

For my card I used a Mojo Monday Sketch, #529.

Mojo Monday Sketch #1-Dragonfly Happy Birthday

I decided that since I really love Mojo Monday Sketches that I would try to work my way through them. There's A LOT of them so this is something that will take some time but that's okay, I'll have fun doing it!

Julee posted the first one in 2007! wow!! That's a lot of creativity and "mojo"! (See what I did there!) Here's Sketch #1~

In the Crafty Fun w/Friends of LV Handcrafted group there is a "Jitterbug June" challenge so I decided to make a card for that. I used the February 2022 Pink and Main Crafty Courtyard kit-Dragonfly Dreams. I don't think much of this kit is available but the Floral Wings stamp set has a dragonfly like this one along with a bee and butterfly!
