Taylored Expressions December 201 Key Ingredients Kit- Holiday Cards

Today I'm back with another Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit! My friend Kristie and I are trying to use the kits we have in our stash.

This time I chose the December 2010 kit for a little Christmas in July! I thought it would be fun to create a SheetLoad of Cards so I decided on the August 2020 SheetLoad of Cards. You can find the debut video on Call Me Crafty Al's channel HERE! See my original set of cards using this SheetLoad HERE and HERE!

You can see my previous Sheetload of Cards~ HERE!

After I finished the SheetLoad of Cards I realized how close I was to using up this kit so I did just that, finished it up!! Yay!!

You can check out my video sharing these creations HERE! and swing by and see what Kristie created too!!

TE Key Ingredients June 2010 Kit- MFT Stamps

**Edited to add that life happened and Kristie will not have a post up today! Hopefully things will settle down and she'll be able to create next month!**

My friend Kristie and I did a little collab last month using our older Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kits. We had so much fun that we decided to do it again this month!! You can see my video from last month HERE! Kristie's post from last month is HERE!

I was running low on mojo so I looked to some sketches to get my creativity going!

First up I used Mojo Monday Sketch #541.

After looking through my stamps I decided on the MFT Pure Innocence stamp, Sunny Smiles. I adore her shirt! It makes me smile!

The next sketch I found was from a challenge blog that is no longer around but I still have their sketches saved in Pinterest as they are great! The Sweet Stop Sketch 70.

I pulled out my MFT Blooming Friendship stamp set to go with this sketch. It's such a cute set!

For my last card I thought this sketch from MFT looked fun! MFT Sketch #551.

I decided to pair this fun sketch with the MFT Adorable Elephants stamp set Love those sweet elephants!

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out my video HERE sharing all these cards and be sure to visit Kristie and see her creations too!!

TE Key Ingredients Kit November 2010- 3 Cards

Today I'm doing a little collab with my friend Kristie to work on using up or at least use one of our old Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kits. We both got them and we both still have them and as you can tell from the title of this post, they are old!! The one that I'm working with today is from November 2010! Yes, you read that right, 2010!!

Since this had a cooking/baking theme I paired the kit with several cooking/baking theme stamp sets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I made a video to go with these cards, check it out HERE!!

My first card uses the fun Happiness is Homemade stamp set. I'd love some freshly baked cookies!

I used the Made with Love stamp set for my second card. She's so cute!!

My last card uses the Let Them Eat Cupcakes stamp set! So fun!!

I barely made a dent in this kit and I could've kept going but I had other projects to create. I will be coming back to this kit soon to hopefully use it up!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to stop over to see what Kristie made!!

There's a Stamp For That #33- Stamp older than a year

I'm back today with another card for my challenge group, There's a Stamp For That. Challenge #33 has the themes of Stripes or Stamp Older Than a Year or Easter. You can see my first card for this challenge HERE!

Today I'm using a stamp older than a year! I don't think I've ever inked up any of the stamps from The Greeting Farm's 10 Year Kit. I don't know why either as they are all so fun!!

I even pulled out an old Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient Kit, June 2010, to pair with my cutie!

This turned out so cute! I really need to refocus on my New Year's goals to Spend Less and Create More as I can tell I'm falling back into the "gotta buy it all" trap lately. It's fun to use what we have!!

Hope you come on over and join in the fun at There's a Stamp For That!

Forgotten Friday- Warmest Winter Wishes

It's Forgotten Friday! Today I have a card made with the beautiful Long Sweater Molli from La La Land Crafts. I don't think I've ever inked her up before! What a shame!!

I paper pieced her hat and sweater. Love that techinque!

All the papers and cardstock are from an old Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit. Very old, December 2010. Can we say hoard much? LOL! and definitely forgotten! I found some snowflakes already die cut from a previous project so I thought it was a sign to add them to this card!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day! I hope your Christmas is full of love and laughter!!

Wednesday Wings- Layla Fairy Bean

Several years ago I started a series here on my blog called Wednesday Wings. I am not sure what happened but I never really followed through on it. I thought since I was in such a creative good place right now I'd bring it back.

The idea is to use some sort of "winged" stamp/die cut each Wednesday like a butterfly, bird, fairy, etc.

This week I decided to use Layla Fairy Bean from The Greeting Farm. She's so little and cute and sweet and adorable!! I just wanna squish her!!

For my layout I used the current Crazy 4 Challenges sketch. I did change the rectangle element to a circle for my little fairy.

I did my best to try and use a more pastel color scheme when coloring up this little fairy. Not sure I really succeeded but it is a bit more muted than my normal bright colors. I added some detail coloring with my Prismacolor pencils.

I'm so pleased with how this turned out! Can't wait to send it to a friend to hopefully make her smile!

Have a great day!! and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary!

I've been making cards since 2005. In all time I don't think I've ever made an anniversary card. If I did, it was only 1 or 2 and nothing I remember. I felt like I was in new territory when I was asked if I could make one but I thought I'd give it a go.

Here's my first try using an old Stampin' Up set, Upsy Daisy. I didn't know what colors so I decided to go with the classic combo of red, black and white.

Have a wonderful day!

Curly Kaylee

I am on a mission to get my stack of already colored images onto cards! Some of them have been in that stack for years!! The first one I pulled out was Curly Kaylee from Some Odd Girl. I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils.

I couldn't decide on a sentiment so I left it blank so I could use it for any occasion. I love the red and black theme!

I think you're sweeter than apple pie!

It's time to do a new series!! This time I decided to use stamps from The Greeting Farm that were released many years ago. They were part of the Super Secret Stamp Club. There were 36 stamps released and I finally completed my collection of them all by getting the one I was missing at The Greeting Farm's Farmers Market at the end of September.

Out of 36 stamps I've only used 6 of them!! Crazy because they are all so fun!  Today I'm starting off the series with the first Super Secret Stamp Club (SSSC) stamp, #1 Fairest.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card~ I think you're sweeter than apple pie! So fun!!

Have a super day!

Owlette

Today I have a card using a fun digi, Owlette, from Tiddly Inks. I have had her printed out for a bit but felt intimidated at coloring it but decided I needed to just start and see what happens!

I had printed the image rather large so it takes center stage on this very simple card! I love the look of flowers but I swear it looks like a preschooler added them on when I use them so I'm trying to take baby steps and learn how to get them on like Rosemary, and many others!!

Heidi Among The Flowers

I'm continuing on my journey to use all the Sweet Sunday Sketches in order so today I have used Sweet Sunday Sketch #19~

When I first saw this sketch I thought it would be hard to find an image that would work. As I looked through my stamps the ideas were never ending! It was hard to choose!!! I might have to revisit this sketch at some point!!

I ended up choosing a cute older C.C. Designs stamp, Heidi among the Flowers. Isn't she so cute hiding behind those flowers?

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~
I just realized how long it has been since I posted/created a new card! Goodness! 2 weeks! We've had some busy weeks and the past few days I've been sick. I'm feeling a tad better but thankful for another day to rest. Hope things are going great in your neck of the world!
