There's a Stamp For That #44- Here's to a Great Year!

Challenge #44 in my group, There's a Stamp For That has the themes of Back to School or Square Card or Primary Colors. 

I got the MFT School is Cool stamp set recently and thought it would be the perfect set for this challenge. I went with the Back To School theme. Originally I thought maybe I'd do all three themes in one card but then changed my mind.

I'm also so happy that slimline cards are a thing as I knew I wanted to use all the cute images and couldn't get them to work well on a standard A2 card. 

I just love how it came out! So super cute!!

There's a Stamp for That Challenge #6- Back 2 School

It's time for some inspiration for my Facebook Challenge Group, There's a Stamp for That. We are on Challenge #6 and the themes are Back to School or Square Card. 

I went with the Back to School theme for this card. I used my SugarPea Designs stamp set, Teacher's Pet. It is such a fun and adorable set!!

For my layout I used an old SugarSketch, #11.

How cute is that bear!! Love this set! and I love how my card turned out!

Sharing card #5 in the 30 projects in 30 days challenge I'm playing along with.

Today I used a fun stamp set from SugarPea Designs, Teacher's Pet. I thought it was an appropriate stamp set for this time of year! My kids headed back to school this week and I start a new job in a close school district on Tuesday as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I'm so excited!

I also used an older sketch from the SugarPea Sketch Challenge (which is now the Mix It Up Challenge).

September Farm Fresh Challenge-Office Supplies

I used Teacher Anya for my card today. I've had her in my stash for quite awhile and she's never seen ink so I thought this was the perfect chance to use her!

You Rock!

A friend of mine was asking for cards and letters to help encourage a 6 year old boy who was being bullied for being a "nerd". This made me so sad that they are starting so young with the bullying so of course, I had to send a little something. 

I made this card using the Smarty Pants stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie and then used part of the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps sentiment set, The Fun Life Tickets.

I just hope it brings a smile to his face and hopefully he'll realize how wonderful it is to be a nerd and that the other kids are just jealous!

Nerdy by Nature

I have loved this fun stamp set since it came out so it was super fun to finally get it and then get it inky!! It's from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and is Smarty Pants. The sayings on it just crack me up!!

Fumi with Bear Backpack

For today's post for Yumi & Fumi Handmade I decided to use up some scraps that I had and also use the super adorable Fumi with Bear Backpack stamp~~(you can find that stamp HERE!)

I admit it~~I'm a scrap hoarder. It pains me to throw away scraps of paper. I'm getting a bit better at it but I still have tons and tons of scraps to use. I always challenge myself to find fun ways to use them, like today's card. Adding strips with some colored cardstock, ribbon and a few pearls was super easy and super fun!!

Lili's First Day of School

A few months back I had finally taken the step to enter a call for a magazine! and my project got chosen! Woo-hoo!! But in a turn of events, that magazine, Designed To Color, is no longer going to be in publication. You can read their message HERE! I thought Bookish Tia from Some Odd Girl would be fun for this challenge. Doesn’t she look so stylish heading back to school?

I colored her with my copics and then cut her out. I paired her with Kaisercraft Class of ‘87 paper. My nestabilities were used to cut out the background behind Bookish Tia. I used a combo of dies and punches to create the flowers.

On the inside I added a strip of paper and stamped the sentiment from my TAC-Tag Tidbit set. To finish the card I added some Kaisercraft rhinestones for some more accents.
