El Paso Zoo again today--I love how the sun makes her seem "shiny". :) And your zoo nerd (yes, that is what I am calling myself these days) is that no two zebras are alike. Their stripes are sort of their fingerprints.

Today's photo is from the Northwest Trek in Washington. This is one of my favorite photos! I just love how Belle and the beaver became friends. It followed her around for quite some time and would touch wherever she touched.

Trying something new..Photo of the Day 9/21/14
It seems that despite my best intentions I just don't end up crafting as much as I'd like to these days. I sure have been crafty shopping lately though so I'm hoping to get my butt in gear and USE what I have soon! :)
I was thinking this last week how I miss blogging on a daily basis so I thought I'd sort of copy my friend, Kristie, and her daily photo posts of her favorite happy place, Disney. While I won't be doing Disney, I will be posting photos that make me happy--mostly zoo photos but who knows what else I'll throw in there.
I know she is following some prompts for her posts but I just thought I'd post something each day or every few days that makes me happy.

I'll start with this photo of one of the elephants in the El Paso Zoo. I use to know all their names but I have forgotten now. Elephants are one of my favorites and I can't wait until the zoo I work at, Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, gets elephants back in 2016!!
