Mojo Monday Sketch #543 Swap Times Two

One of the swaps in my group last month was to create a card using Mojo Monday Sketch #543. One of the members had a medical issue come up so I made two cards, one for my partner and one for their partner.

I decided to use the MFT One-Of-A-Kind Friend set and the Not 2 Shabby Summer Donuts 6x6 paper pad for both of my cards. I think they turned out so fun and I hope they make the receipents smile!

Oh So Inspired #18- Hello

Last Saturday night I was on "Oh So Inspired" with Crafty Al and her sister, Lisa. I felt pretty out of sorts since I hadn't crafted for a week but it was fun, as always.

Always be a Unicorn

Last week I shared a coloring video that I made where I colored up Lady Unicorn from Sweet Escape Digis. She is part of the Fantasy 4 Digital Stamps Pack. 

Today I'm here with the card I made using the colored image. I kept it very clean and simple so the image could shine. I love how she stands out!

To finish the card I added some glitter dots and sparkle! Gotta have sparkle!

You Sparkle!

I'm up on the TLC Blog today!! Are you following the TLC Designs Blog? If not, you should! The other design team members post some of the most inspiring creations plus you don't want to miss any TLC Designs news!!

Today I'm using the Alicorn Happiness stamp set. I had to look up what an alicorn was, (I feel like I failed at fantasy knowledge with this one, and discovered it's a winged unicorn. Pretty cool!) The stamp set, Alicorn Happiness has so many "little" stamps with it that are so adorable and so many great sentiments that it really is a very versatile set!

I colored my sweet Alicorns up with copics. I used the Aztec Sunshine die to cut out some circles of the Sweet As Cake digital paper. I also used the clouds from the Aztec Sunshine die set. 

I thought a slimline card would be fun so once I had all the elements ready I started figuring out placement. Isn't that the best part to see it all come together? 

To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Alicorn Happiness stamp set, some sparkle and rhinestones. I think it's just such a happy, feel good card.

Lil' Miss Sugarpops Unicorn

I've had this cute digi for awhile but have been a bit intimidated to color it up as it had so many details. I finally decided to just jump in with both feet and I'm glad I did. Isn't she just the cutest!!!!

I colored up Lil' Miss Sugarpops Unicorn with copics and Prismacolor pencils. I just had fun with the process and added some fun colors to make her unique!

Since she was so colorful I kept to basic cardstock colors for the rest of the card so she would stand out. 

I added lots of sparkle to finish off the card. So super adorable!!

Sparkle Wherever You Go

I use to play along with challenges all the time and then I stopped. Yesterday I decided to play along with a few and it made me happy so I decided to try a few more today!!

This card uses the super cute Unicorn Love stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I got it awhile ago and have never inked it up! (guess it's no longer available so I'm happy I got it when I did!) Glad I got it out today! So fun!!

I made some clouds for the background and then added the rainbow and unicorn. Next I added some fun sparkle and then the sentiment. Such a sweet and fun card!

How super fun is the Unicorn Bday Anya set from The Greeting Farm! I just adore it and finally made time to ink it up!!

I've been inspired by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps design team member, Brigitte and her use of stickles around the paper. Such a fun little touch! (even though the photos don't show it very well)

My Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen kind of overflowed a bit on her dress but I think it still turned out okay. A pretty sparkly unicorn princess for a birthday wish!!

A special birthday!

It's a special birthday!! Kim from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps turned 50 on the 3rd!! How super exciting! Many of us sent cards to her mom's house to surprise her! I'm just hoping mine made it in time and that it added to her celebration! 

I chose the fun Unicorns & Rainbows stamp set for her card! What a super fun set!!

Sweet Pal

The designer challenge this week at Ching-Chou Kuik is Autumn/Fall/Fall Colors. Autumn is my favorite season and I love making autumn themed cards so I was excited about this!

I chose Sweet Pal as my image this week! I mean, who wouldn't want a unicorn as a friend!!

Believe in Magic

I have another card to share today from last year when I was on the SCS Dirty Dozen team. 

The October 2017 Fan Club theme was Creepy Crawlies. For this card I used the alternative theme of Word Play where you use the letters of the word BUGS to make your card. 

I used: B for Blue, U for Unicorns, G for Green and S for Stickles Glitter Glue.

Make a Wish

I originally created this fun cloud background for another card but it didn't quite work so I went ahead and found an image for it and created this card!

The cotton candy looking clouds just screamed for a unicorn so that's what I did. I think it turned out pretty cute.
