Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge- It's My Birthday

 Good morning and welcome to another

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week, Krafty Girl Jennifer is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

I sat down to make one card for this challenge using the Puppy Power Stamp Set and Pawprints 2 Stencil but ended up having so much fun stenciling, I created 5 cards! They are all super simple cards but they turned out so cute!

I masked off a strip on my first card to stencil. I used Flirty Flamingo, Lavish Lilac and Blue Bay inks for this card.

On my second card I did a strip of stenciled pawprints in Ocean Opulence, Ruby Red, Summer Sunshine and Tempting Tangerine.

My next card I stenciled the entire background and used Mermaid Melody, Alluring Amethyst, Enchanting Emerald, Crisp Crimson and Pumpkin Patch.

Next I used the Semi Circles Stencil in addition to the Pawprints 2 Stencil and Amazing Azure, Sparkling Sapphire, and Stormy Sky.

For my last card I used Festive Fuchsia and Nuvo Glimmer Paste. So sparkly and fun!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Mermaid Monday- Be a Mermaid ATC's

It's time for another Mermaid Monday!! You can see all my mermaid cards HERE!

Today I have some mermaid ATC's to share with you. ATC's are a new obsession of mine so you might start seeing more of them! Hehe!

I used the Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Waves Stencil, lots of Kraftin' Kimmie inks and the awesome Kraftin' Kimmie Be a Mermaid Stamp Set for my ATC's today. These were for a swap in the Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Club!

I absolutely LOVE how the backgrounds turned out! I'll be making a video soon sharing how I did this!! 

I have to say, I really love how all these turned out! It was hard to send them off in the mail. LOL!

Kendra's Card Challenge #5- Sketches 7-15

Way back in February I started to do Kendra's Card Challenge #5. I got about halfway through it and then had to stop to work on other things. I put it aside and told myself I'd finish it before the challenge ended at the end of March. 

You can see how that worked out! LOL! Kendra's Card Challenge #6 has started and before I dive into that one I wanted to finish Challenge #5 so here we go!

I feel so accomplished to have finished the entire challenge! Granted, it wasn't done in time to enter the give-away, but that's okay. Hopefully I can complete more of Kendra's Challenges soon!

Kraftin' KImmie March Skrappy Challenge

  Good morning krafty friends!

It's March, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

For this month's Skrappy Challenge I decided to make a tag. I used the Bouncing Bubbles Stencil with some Nuvo Moonstone Glitter Paste to create the base for my tag. For my image I used one of the mermaids I colored up in my Krafty Kolour Along Live, (you can always watch the replay or I have a video going over this technique HERE!). This fun mermaid and her turtle friend are from the Mermaid Friends stamp set and her tail has a pattern created on it with the Pattern Parade Stencil!

I don't make tags often but this sure was fun!! 

You have until Monday, April 4th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

I had so much fun using the Krafty Komeback You're So Cool Stamp Set!! I also used the Kraftin' Kimmie Sweet Snowflakes Stencil with Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste from last month's add-on bundle. It is just so pretty!!

I couldn't figure out how to get the sentiment on the card so I heat embossed it and then cut it apart to get on the bottom of the image panel. I like how it looks and will have to do it again more often!

Four on Friday- She Sells Seashells Stencil

It's time for another Four on Friday with my friend, Alicia!! This has to be one of my most favorite collabs!! Every few weeks we each post four projects with the same product, technique, type of card, etc. but we don't tell each other what we're doing so it's a surprise for us too!

Today I'm creating four cards using the She Sells Seashells Stencil from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. It is fun to see how you can use one stencil but with different stamp sets and inks/gels to create different looks.

First up I used some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Pineapple Delight with the stencil. I've had it for awhile so it was fun to use it. It is very sparkly while wet and then shimmery and gold-ish when dry on the blue. I think I'll be sparkling for quite a bit after using this! But it's so pretty! I paired this background with the Kraftin' Kimmie Beach Blanket Bingo stamp set. 

For my second card I used some Kraftin' Kimmie inks with the stencil and then paired it with the cute Kraftin' Kimmie You're Sun-sational! stamp set.

My third card was fun! I traced the stencil with a black copic multi-liner and then colored everything in with my Stampin' Up Stamp Write Markers. I paired this background with the Kraftin' Kimmie Life is the Bubbles stamp set.

My last card I masked off a strip and then inked up the stencil. I paired this background with the Kraftin' Kimmie What's the Scoop stamp set. 

I really had so much fun with these cards. I really need to get out my stencils more often!!
