Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- Skrappy Challenge- Pizza Box

Good morning & Happy New Year krafty friends!
It's January and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!
For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!
Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!
You have until Monday, February 1st to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN! Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!
Check out some more inspiration from the Krafty Team below and be inspired to get krafty!!

I decided to make a little pizza box as I haven't made one in ages! I used THESE directions to make it.

I decided to use the Sweet As Can Bee!! stamp set to decorate the box. Once that was done I debated about what to put into the box and decided it would make an awesome gift to have some little 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch cards in it made with the same stamp set.

This whole set was SO much fun to create! I'm thankful for the challenge to make something other than a card as it really helped my creativity!

Thanks for stopping by and have a krafty day!

Bunny Friends

Here we are at the last day of February! Does anyone else feel like the month went by way too fast?

I just got this set, Bunny Friends from The Angel Company and thought it would be a fun one to get inky! I had tons of fun paper piecing the balloons!

(you can see the embossing better in this photo)

When putting my card together I was stumped as to what to add to it but the more I looked at it, the more I liked the Clean and Simple look so I just left it. What do you think? does it need something more?

The little details~ Bunny Friends, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, scraps of paper, nestabilities, Scor-pal, cuttlebug just my type embossing border-non TAC,

(my online site is having some issues right now because of TAC moving locations. It should be back up soon but if you see something you'd like to order, please just email me!!)

It's Thursday...that means....

It's time for new releases by Meljen's Designs at Whimsy Stamps!!

There are some super fun ones today! Cute Cooking Canisters, Little Cooking Utensils, Lovely Little Apron, I Heart You Badge and Oval Cherry Frame.

You can find them all HERE! Be sure to look around the store too...lots of wonderful stamps--both digital and rubber!!

For my first creation, I used the new Oval Cherry Frame with the cute Cherry Mouse to make a cute card. I'm not very computer savvy, yet, so I printed each image separately and then combined them. I know you can combine them on the computer before you print it out, but I haven't got that far yet! LOL!

Next I used the new I Heart You Badge to make a cute lil card.

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch for this week, Sketch Challenge # 87.

I have ideas for the other new digis~~ think recipe cards or tags to go on food items you give as gifts....hopefully I can get those made and share them soon!

Try It Out with a "T" #76

Today's challenge is to create a Clean and Simple card. Use lots of white (or cream) with only 1 pop of color! Your image can be multi-colored, your papers cannot.

Be sure to visit Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart, to see how you can play along and also to see what my other design team sisters have created. Don't forget to check on the blog on Thursday as well for the other half of the teams creations!

For my image I chose sweet Aurora with cake. She just makes me happy!!
I used my scor-pal to make the lines on the card.  I used Barb Foster's, I like Poot card for my inspiration as I just adore her card.

My Umbrella

Since our weather is turning cloudy and gloomy with a chance of rain, I thought this cutie, My Umbrella, from the Pure Innocence line at MFT would be perfect.
I stamped the umbrella twice on white cardstock and once on the designer paper, cut them out so there would be some dimension.
I tried a clean and simple style for this week's Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential challenge.

supplies:
  • card size: 4 x 4
  • stamps: My Umbrella,
  • paper: scraps, SU cardstock,
  • ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU pixie pink,
  • others: copics, scor-pal/scor-bug, stickles,

Flutter By Wednesday #17

Whew! I could finally get it to upload! I tried using my scor-pal for the first time for grid lines. Umm, don't look away while you're doing this........I made a mistake on it but figured I'd leave it.
The stamp set is TAC's retired Squiggle Bugs. I colored the butterfly with prismacolors and then went over the orange spots with a stardust pen. I also used the purple stardust pen to do the doodles. And my nestibilities for the circle and scalloped circle. The ribbon was a gift to me and the first time I've used it.
