I tell you, I'm hooked--pole, line and sinker--as the saying goes, on Sweet Pea Stamps. I love that there is such a broad range of artists/styles so if you're in a cutesy mood--they've got stamps for that, if you're in a mystical mood-they've got stamps for that, and so on!!

My card today uses a digi from Elaine Cox called Maggie. I fell in love with this image's eyes...aren't they just gorgeous! Wow!! I {adore} how this came out!

I'm finding I'm not getting as much crafting done this weekend as I had planned but that's okay. I'm off to bake some chocolate chip cookies now..who wants some?

I am still loving that on top of great rubber stamps that SCACD now has digital stamps too! Today I colored up the pretty Peaceful Thoughts Fairy by Carmen Medlin. I think she is just too sweet!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~
A little update for those of you not on Facebook~~ Sam got a different job! Yay! More $$, a better chance for advancement and an easier schedule to adapt to--Monday through Friday with a few Saturday's! We don't know yet if he will work the 3pm-11pm shift or the 11pm-7am shift or both but we know we can make it work either way.

I also did a doozy of a fall yesterday. I twisted my ankle and fell in a small hole while walking the dogs. It was so painful but after strict orders from Dr. Sam I have been resting and not walking on it much and it's starting to feel better. I'm hoping that tomorrow or Monday we're able to get out and do something but we'll see. At least I was able to craft today~ whew!

Enjoy your day and hope it's a great one!!

Hoping my creativity is here to stay for a bit as it's been a bit of hit and miss the past week or so.

While my creativity was missing I sat and looked through all my stamps and digis--found so many that I had forgotten about or ones that haven't been used! I must remedy that!

Onto today's creation! This was one of those older digis I found! It's from Elisabeth Bell and is Rachel-Little Angel. She's so sweet!

Snow Fun

Today's card features another stamp from Victoria Case for SCACD, Snow Fun! I love me some snowmen!!

I inked up the stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with my copics. My paper is some older Kaisercraft paper, Tinsel. (You can always find awesome paper at SCACD--check it out HERE!)

I added sparkle with some glamour dust and stickles.

I almost forgot that I was giving away some Bazzill Timeless paper from THIS POST! The winner via random.org is Denice! I'll get it in the mail to you soon!

I wish we'd get some snow but it's pretty doubtful...only rain in the forecast. Enjoy your day and if you have snow--make a snowman for me!

SCACD Release Day Hop!

This is SCACD's last 2 stamp releases of the year! We're bringing you cuteness from Elisabeth Bell for SCACD with 4 new adorable stamps in the Sampler #8 Collection. We also have Susana Loves Stamps new collection- Mythical Reflections which brings you 4 more mythical stamps to help inspire you and help you create!  Be sure to check out all the details on the SCACD store blog and hop along with the SCACD DT as we showcase these amazing new stamps!
I’m the first stop on your hop but remember that if there are any hiccups along the way, you can find the full hop list on the SCACD store blog, Follow Your Heart.
The first stamp I’d like to introduce to you is Hannah from Susana Loves Stamps.  She has such an elegance to her, just so pretty!

I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with copics. For my designer paper I used Basic Grey Lucille. For some sparkle I used glamour dust on her wings and touches of copic glitter pens. To finish the card I added some Kaisercraft pearls.

The next stamp I’m introducing is one I just melted when I saw, and even more so when I heard the name, Butterfly Kisses by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD! So darling!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with copics. I also paper pieced her dress as it was screaming to be pieced. I used an older Kaisercraft paper pad-Sweet Nothings (which is no longer in stock at SCACD but never fear, there’s tons of other great paper there so take a peek after you put the new stamps in your cart). I added stickles and some Kaisercraft pearls along with touches of liquid pearls to finish the card.

All the stamps are available at SCACD now and for our International Friends, they are available at Quixotic Paperie!
Now you should hop on to Elaine’s blog! Happy Hopping and Shopping!

FBW #207

It’s time for another Flutter By Wednesday Challenge! Be sure to stop by the blog to see how you can play along and to see all the gorgeous Flutter By Team creations!

This week we have an open challenge which means anything goes as long as you have a butterfly or fairy on your creation!

mollyfairya

I found this cute Molly Fairy from StampFairy printed so I thought I’d color her up today. I used my copic markers to color her. I paired her with Prima Fairy Flora papers. I added Glamour Dust to her wings and stickles to the “sparkles”. To finish the card I added a flower and some leaves/branches along with some pearls and doodled along the edge of the image.

mollyfairyaside

I must admit this isn’t my favorite card--think the colors I chose just don’t work..but it’s not trash bin worthy either. What do you think?

We hope you can play along with us this week at my Flutter By Wednesday Challenge!

He loves me, he loves me not…how many of you have picked flower petals off while saying that little chant? I know I did when I was younger. That’s the name of another one of the newly released stamps from the Victoria Case for SCACD Fairylicious Collection.
Isn’t she so sweet? Have you ordered yours yet?

For my layout I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge~ I just couldn’t get the sentiment to work right so when in doubt…add butterflies!
