I participated in a memory dex swap recently and this was the memory dex card I made for it. I have to admit the open theme--anything you wanted--was hard!! I finally decided on the Newton's Nook Garden Mice stamp set! 

I think it turned out fun and pretty! Hopefully my partner likes it too!!

Oh So Inspired #21- You're on My Mind

Last Saturday night I was a guest on Crafty Al's "Oh So Inspired Live #21". Lots of fun, as always.

Here's the card I created. I was excited to use my new Cloud Edger Stencil from A Colorful Life. I want to practice more with it but I like the clouds it creates.

To My Sweet Friend

Today's card uses some of the fun goodies from the Not 2 Shabby Box of the Month December 2021- Sweet Wishes.

I used the Sweet Birthday stamp set and the Elegant Birthday paper pad to create my card. I like how it's bright and sort of funky! 

I really like the "glitter paper" as it looks sparkly but it's smooth, easier to work with than most true glitter papers.

You're A Hoot!

I still had a background on my craft table from my Fun With Stencils-Clouds video so I decided to use part of it. I love the owl with the glasses so I decide to use him. I added glossy accents to the glasses for an extra touch.

I added some interest with a border punch and then added some finishing touches. Another card that makes me smile!

Four on Friday- Like a Sunflower

It's time for another Four on Friday with my friend, Alicia!! This has to be one of my most favorite collabs!! Every few weeks we each post four projects with the same product, technique, type of card, etc. but we don't tell each other what we're doing so it's a surprise for us too!

I decided for my four creations this week would all feature the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp set, Like a Sunflower! I recently purchased this set so I was excited to use it!

I stamped on some SU Crumb Cake cardstock for my first card and colored the sunflower with Prismacolor pencils. I really love the look of this but rarely do it! If you want to see some AMAZING pencil coloring on kraft cardstock, check out Kerri's blog HERE!! 

I thought it would be fun for the second card to be a mini slimline card. I used my Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Zig Zag dies for this one.

I love the sentiment "Keep your face to the sunshine" so I made sure it fit on the next card and I used some brighter colors.

On my last card I decided to have some fun and use some non-traditional colors for my sunflower. Always fun to switch it up!! I decided to add some clouds too since making clouds is one of my favorite things to do!

A friend saw THIS card and asked if I could make her a set of the same design. Since the design was made I said sure. 

I used different designer series papers, colors and punches, but the basic design is the same on all of them. I hope she likes them!

There's a Stamp For That- Challenge #21

It's the final week of Challenge #21 at my challenge group, There's a Stamp For That. Challenge #21 is the themes of bicycles or belated birthday or masculine birthday.

For my card today I decided to go with the belated birthday theme. I used a fun stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps set called Humorous Birthday Innies. I love the sentiments in this set!!

For the layout of my card I used an older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #447.

Enjoy the little things

I'm in the home stretch for finishing all the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenges. They have to be done by the end of Sunday so hopefully I can get them done as they are so much fun!

This challenge was flowers. I was excited to ink up the Fancy Florals stamp set. It was so much fun to color!! I went with bright happy colors!

Two more challenges to go...hopefully I can get them all done today!!
