Shirley

When I lived in El Paso, TX I was in an amazing bible study group and there was one lady that really touched my heart, Shirley. She has since passed away but I think of her often.

When I saw this digi by Mo Manning named Shirley, I knew I had to get it--just because of the name. Silly I know but it made me smile to think of Shirley and her big personality and kind heart.

I'm also playing along with another of the Friday Challenges for the yahoo group I'm in--this one is Challenge #3- use your favorite color. My favorite color is pink so this has lots of pink goodness in it!

This card just makes me smile~~hope it does you too!!

Bronte and Bella's Clubhouse Freebie

Mo Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil recently started a Facebook group, Bronte and Bella's Clubhouse, and she was kind enough to share a freebie of a close up of one of her darling images so we could practice our coloring skills.

Here's what I came up with~

She was so much fun to color and it was fun to print her out a bit larger than I normally would.

Hope your Monday treats you well! I have the day off so I have high hopes to craft the day away!

If all else fails, add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

Shucks

Ever had a card just not flow for you? but yet you kept going with it and in the end you just wish you had stopped? This is that card for me.

The image is a digi from Mo Manning called Shucks. I thought it was pretty appropriate since we live in corn country now~ Husker land...LOL!

But I can guarantee that I will be doing this again at some point and hopefully I'll like the results better. I wasn't going to even post it but figured why not~~gotta share the good with the bad.

Have a good day! I'm super excited that I get to go to work this afternoon for my orientation and drug test (whew, a test I don't have to study for!).
