This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

TAGS and/or FALL!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I used both of the themes and made some fall tags!! I love the cute squirrels in the Squirrel Friends stamp set! Just so cute!!

We also have a new Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long!! This month features the gorgeous Mostly Melon Ink Pad, Ink Cube and Reinker! Grab it now to add to your collection..

Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

July 3, 2023- Using a sketch

My posts are being removed by blogger saying they are spam. I am using this as a test post to see if it is removed as well. I changed the title from my original post. I am looking into getting a different blog, which is sad as I've used this one since 2007!!

Crystal from Tawny Owl Paperie has a group on Facebook called Tawny Owl Paperie | Inky Inspiration and one of the things she shares are sketches. I thought Sketch #13 looked great so I wanted to be sure to play along while it was current, not just revisit it later.

Here's the sketch~ 

I thought it was a fun sketch and one that would work well with scraps-or not! LOL! I thought it was also a great sketch for those papers that are maybe a bit loud on their own, or in bigger pieces. 

I chose my papers first and decided to use the Not 2 Shabby Mermaid Fantasy 6x6 Paper Pad. I like the papers but some of the patterns are just to busy for my style so I thought this would be fun to try with this sketch.

I decided to stick with the mermaid theme for my image and decided the Darcie's Mermaid Spells stamp set would be fun to use. I stamped out my mermaid and then colored her up with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils/Crayola Skin Tone Pencils.

Finishing the card was pretty easy! I just found the Sunny Studio Stitched Semi-Circle die that worked perfectly, stamped my sentiment on a banner/flag (whatever you call it) and then finished the card with some This Calls For Confetti Oil Slick embellishments.

Create It Three Ways IG Hop- Critter Campout

I'm excited to be hopping each month on IG in the Create It Three Ways Collab! Basically you are given a theme and then you create 3 cards with that theme and a product/color/die/etc. It reminds me of my Three for Tuesday series I had for awhile which I enjoyed! 

This month the theme is Summer! I use to enjoy going camping in the summer so I chose to create my 3 cards using the Sunny Studio Critter Campout stamp set, Sunny Studio Critter Country 6x6 Paper Pack and the same sketch, Mojo Monday Sketch #535.

August Mertot

Life threw me some major curveballs in the middle of May and MerMay sort of came to a halt. I still colored up all 31 mermaids for the Sweet November Stamps coloring challenge though so there will still be lots of mermaid cards in the works!

Today's card uses a digital stamp, August Mertot from Sweet November Stamps.

I tried a different skin tone today and black hair. I'm pleased with how they turned out.

I paired her with a background I found in my stash. I know It uses a Kraftin' Kimmie stencil and inks but I didn't write down exactly what I used. I hope to get better at that!!

     Welcome back to Day TWO of our April Krafty Peeks!

This is such a wonderful scenery stamp! I think it will be so versatile! I paired it with the new Charming Chevron stencil!

Kraftin' Kimmie February 2023 Skrappy Challenge

 Good morning krafty friends!

It's February, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I made some sweet tags for the truffles that jumped into my cart at the store! The Beary Love stamp set is back in stock and oh my, it is beyond adorable!!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

January 2023 Crafter of the Month Loaded Envelope

I am so glad I discovered loaded envelopes as I still enjoy making them! This one is for the Crafter of the Month in my swap group. Hopefully she enjoys all the goodies!

I used some retired SU 12x12 Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper for the envelope and the die cut shapes.

For my card I used MFT Happy Mail stamp set. Oh so adorable!!
