There's a Stamp For That #52- Music

We took a little break for the holidays at my group, There's a Stamp For That but we're back now!! Challenge #52 has the themes of Music or Snowflakes or Blue. 

Today's card uses the theme of Music. I have had this stamp set for years and was happy to finally pull it out and use it! It's retired but it makes me happy since both of my kids were in marching band.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Sympathy Sentiments- No Coloring

I think the newly released Sympathy Sentiments stamp set is so beautiful and I just couldn't stop creating cards with it!

I wanted to show that you could create wonderful cards with it WITHOUT coloring so here's four ways that I did that.

For my first card I used some watercolor paper and my Zig Zag Clean Color Markers to create a simple background.

I had some alcohol backgrounds on my craft table so I thought I'd create a card with one of those. I think this is one of my favorites!! These were the newer alcohol pearl inks.

Since I love paper piecing, I thought that would be a neat way to use this stamp so that's what I did on my next card.

For my final card I did a simple emboss resist but wow, it turned out so pretty! I used the newly released Blue Bay ink for my ink blending. Love this new color!!

I really had so much fun with this stamp set and know that I'll be using it often. I'd grab yours now from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps store and add some of the other great stamps and products while you're there!

Past Bedtime

I just had to color up this cute digi-Past Bedtime from Pixie Dust Studio that was a freebie on the Pixie Dust Studio Fan Page Facebook Group. I love her little bunny slippers and cute teddy bear.

I colored her with my copics and then carefully cut her out. Of course bunny slippers need to be fluffy so I added some fun flock to them. I used Lily Bee Head Over Heels paper--which is discounted right now at SCACD! I added some punched out hearts, some faux stitching and a few touches of stickles to finish the card.

Leah’s Secret

Found this little sweetie printed out in my digi folder so decided to color her up. She’s Leah’s Secret from Whimsie Doodles.

I colored her with my copics and then cut her out. I paired her with my Lilybee Design Head over Heels paper. Other elements to the card are a die by A Muse, ribbon, bow easy to make my bow, SU punch, Kaisercraft rhinestones, and stickles.
