One Sheet Wonder Cards 1 and 2

Here's cards 1 and 2 out of the One Sheet Wonder. You can find the original post HERE

One of the great things about Stampin' Up designer paper is that they give you color suggestions of what will work with it, which helps take the guess work out of it.

I think one of the fun things about doing this was seeing how different a card could look even though the paper/cardstock were the same.

You're my favorite blogger!

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who prints out digi stamps and doesn't use them all right away so then you end up with a stack of them waiting to be used! I decided to take a few days and color up a few from the rather large, daunting stack!

This cute digi is from Whimsie Doodles and is called Blogger Girl. I decided that this card is dedicated to YOU! Yup, you there reading this! You know you're my favorite!

I {Heart} You

I know, I know, a second card in one day! Hope you were sitting down!

Continuing on to use the last of the Echo Park Springtime paper pad. I think with one or two more cards it will be gone! This is a real victory as I don't know that I've ever completed a full paper pad...I've come close a few times but just couldn't bring myself to finish the pads. I guess I'm turning over a new leaf! LOL!

This cutie is a digi from Whimsie Doodles called I {Heart} You.

Social Teen Thinking

In one of my yahoo groups I have been putting out a "Friday Challenge" since the beginning of the year. These have been really simple, easy challenges just to get the mojo flowing for the ladies of the group.

We are on week 30 and I haven't played along at all so I figured I better change that and dive in!

So I started at the top with Challenge 1- Use a circle and a square.

I know it's a simple card but I adore how it came out! I am loving my SU Banner Punch and Banner Blast stamp set! Can't wait to order the new stamp set from the new SU catalog--along with TONS of other goodies!! Have you seen the new catalog?? it's amazing!! Come on June 2nd so we can order!!

FBW #240

Time for another Flutter By Wednesday Challenge!! Be sure to visit the blog to see how you can play along and to see the other Flutter By Team members creations!!

I'm sad this week as my right hand gal, Michelle, is taking an extended leave of absence from the team. Sniff, sniff. I will miss her so much but look forward to her return later in the year.

With her leave of absence I have decided to take FBW where I've always wanted it to be, sponsor free/prize free. I've always wanted it to just be for fun and inspiration so that's what it's going to be. There are still 3 sponsors left and then no more will be booked.

I will still randomly give out prizes but it will be a surprise as I won't announce when or what the prizes are.

Enough of that... this week our challenge is to add buttons to our creations with our butterflies or fairies! Easy peasy!

Here's what I came up with using Garden Lizzie from Whimsie Doodles.

Enjoy your day and smile! From Millan.Net

Lizzie's Pumpkins

I know that autumn is gone but when looking for an image to use for The Sweet Stop's sketch this week this cute image from Whimsie Doodles, Lizzie's Pumpkins just screamed to me. I'll be ahead on autumn cards this year..hehe!
From Millan.Net

I'm also using this card for the 52 week card challenge I'm in--this week we needed to have a bow on our card.

Here's the sketch from The Sweet Stop~

Here's what I came up with~

Hope everyone's 2013 is off to a great start! Here's a few photos of the Polar Bear Plunge that Sam and I did to start off the New Year! The sign said 46 outside but my car said 40--regardless it was cold!!From Millan.Net  My feet were the part of my body that was affected the most--they still hurt a little!

We did it though and got our patches/badges to show for it!! Now to see if I can do it again next year as they say the second year is the worst because you know what's coming!

Also wanted to remind you that today starts the new Spring Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!! Lots of fun new products so be sure to visit my site (link below) and I will also be happy to mail you one if you email me! I will add a link to my sidebar for the online catalog too!!

Today the kids go back to school and Sam goes back to work which means it's time for me to clean house... I know, you're jealous!! See you back here soon and thanks for stopping by!

Strips...they need to be used!

Continuing with my challenge to myself to use up a 6x6 pad of paper (see the original post HERE) today. I noticed I had tons of strips of paper to use up so I decided to work on those today.

Keeping details short and sweet today but feel free to email me if you have any questions!

First card using Some Odd Girl's digi-Shy Kaylee.

The next card uses Whimsie Doodles digi- Shy Leah. Guess I was in a "shy" mood!

Next we have Teddy Emma from C.C. Designs.

Which one is your favorite? I can't choose!!

These make the total cards so far from the 6x6 paper pad---5! I must admit that I am having so much fun with this!!

Have an awesome day!

Cafe Lizzie

I had to have this cutie, Cafe Lizzie from Whimsie Doodles especially with my beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte returning to Starbucks soon. I know it’s not the best for my waistline but I think a couple this fall couldn’t hurt!

I printed her out and then colored her with my copics and then cut her out.  I used Authentique Gathering for my paper. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the layer behind my image. To finish the card I added brads and stickles

I did finish the inside--I struggle with getting sentiments onto cards so I have been trying to at least get them on the inside, plus it helps me use more of my stamps!--I used a TAC set, Coffee Talk and a strip of the designer paper.

For my layout I used the latest Sketch by Carly-

copic colors- E000, E00, E21, R30, R20, E25, E49, E53, E59, BG23, BG32, BG34, YR01, YR02, BG13,YR04, W1, W2, W4, E31, E34, E37, G24, G28, YR20, YR21,

Happy Birthday Turtle

My co-worker had a birthday last Friday so I wanted to make her a card. She loves turtles so I thought this digi from Whimsie Doodles was perfect!

I printed it out and then colored it with my copics. I paired the image with Echo Park-Springtime papers. Since the pink and green papers didn’t have a design on them I used some Cuttlebug embossing folders on them.

To finish the card I added a button and some bakers twine.

copic colors- YG05,YG07, YG09, E37, E35, E33, R30, E34, E31, E39, R81, R83, V01, V12, B00, B02, BG10
