I recently joined a swap where you had to use a Penny Black stamp. I only have a couple sets from Penny Black and they don't see ink nearly enough so I was excited about making this card.

I used the set, Hugs!, for this card. Aren't those hedgehogs just too adorable!! and the little ladybugs, be still my heart!!

Flutter By Wednesday #64

Hello! So glad you came by for Flutter By Wednesday! I am so very pleased that so many people are participating and stopping by for inspiration. Really makes my heart sing.

This week's challenge is an open theme~ just be sure you have a butterfly or fairy on your card. I'd love to see your creations! Leave a direct link to your creation in Mister Linky, (I reserve the right to remove any links not appropriate or linked to blogs vs. entries.) If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW. Can't wait to see all those fab flutter by cards!

Our guest designer this week is super talented and super sweet! I first fell in love with her work with House Mouse stamps but then became a follower of her blog as all her projects are awesome. It's none other than Carolyn Bounds! Please be sure to visit her blog and leave her some love.
Here's her gorgeous creation~

I want to give another shout out to a friend that many of you know... Jessica of The Whimsical Butterfly. I've decided that her and I were meant to be friends as she loves the color pink and butterflies just as much as I do. She loves butterflies so much that she designed her very own stamp set that is being released today at The Greeting Farm. Here's a peek at it~

Isn't it just to die for? I know I am going to have to have it! There are lots of fun things going on today including a blog hop so be sure to stop by Jessica's blog for all the details and also to see some of the gorgeous cards she made using this set.

Also be sure to stop by all my Flutter By Team Member's sites to see all their wonderful creations! Links are on my sidebar!

Here's my creation for the week, simple but cute!

A fun challenge

On one of the groups I'm on we were all sent the same image and then we were to create a card. Then we email a photo of our card to the person who sent us the image and then we are vote on the one we like the best and as a twist, trying to guess who made which card. Fun!
Since I use copics so often, I thought I'd throw them off by using prismacolors and OMS. Cute image we were sent, no?

supplies:
card size: 8 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: image from RAK
paper: unknown
ink:
others: prismacolors, OMS, clear copic glitter pen, Fiskars Threading water punch, Bazzill Bitty Blossoms, buttons, stickles, paper piercing,

Flutter By Wednesday #36

When I was looking through my stamps this week for a Flutter By, I found my Penny Black Critter Party and thought this cat was just too fun. It's a smaller image so I needed some ideas on what to do with him so I headed to SCS. I fell in love with Tammi's Wonderful Card and CASE'd it, with a few changes.

I colored the image with copics, prismacolors, OMS and touches of stardust and stickles. I paper pierced along the top and bottom of the image. Paper is Basic Grey's Sultry. I used my Martha Stewart punch on the black piece and the ribbon I had in my stash. I added a butterfly made out of the same Sultry paper and green cardstock made with my Martha Stewart punch to the corner.

On the inside I used a retired TAC set, Sweet Thoughts. I also added a butterfly from the Penny Black set to the inside and envelope. (sorry for the blurry photo)

Remember to leave a comment and a link if you create a Flutter By card, I'd love to see your creations!
Have a wonderful day!!

Make a wish

I recently got a new Penny Black clear stamp set, Critter Party. I just love these images--I say that alot, don't I ? Welcome to my obsession, LOL!
I needed a birthday card for my mother-in-law so I decided to ink it up. I thought these little mice were adorable!
I colored them with copics, prismacolors, OMS and stardust pen. I stamped the cupcake twice then cut one out, glittered it up and added it on dimensionals. I used some Fiskars Corner Rounder scissors I've had forever for the corners of the image. Paper is TAC's retired Frutti Fusion and the ribbon was a gift in one of my recent orders from Paper Garden Projects, which is also where I got this stamp set!

On the inside and envelope I used TAC's retired set, Party Time.

Thanks for stopping by and looking!
