Birgitta

These Swiss Pixies sure have found a way into my heart. I just adore them all!!
This sweetie is Birgitta. I just love how sweet she looks with her flower.
Thought she'd make a very cute thank you card for my Flutter By Wednesday.

Don't forget to enter the wonderful blog candy on Susana's store blog, Follow Your Heart before 10:30 pm (EST) today!! There's also some little snippets of the FAB new Elisabeth Bell for SCACD release.

Also don't forget to come back tomorrow for a blog hop to release these FAB Elisabeth Bell for SCACD images!

Ohhh...I'm so excited too! Susana is carrying select copic refills now!! yay!! She keeps getting in all kinds of fun new stuff so be sure you check out her store tomorrow when you order your Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Sampler #2

Onto my card~

What I did:
I stamped Birgitta in Memento ink onto my cardstock twice. I colored the entire image with my copics on one of the images and then only the flower on the other. After I was done coloring I cut out the flower and popped it up on pop dots for some dimension.
I painted her wings with December Sky shimmerz. After the shimmerz dried, (which it dries fast), I cut out Birgitta with my large labels nesties. With the nestie still in place I sponged SU creamy caramel ink around the image. (Yes, I'm hooked on this technique). As for sponges, for this technique I've found that cutting a makeup sponge into little pieces works well since it's a smaller area.
I used SU cardstock to match the ink for the card base. Then cut and sponged ink onto the designer paper. I also used my SU ticket corner punch for the corners of my designer paper. I added the middle band and used my Fiskars threading water punch on the designer paper and again sponged ink on all the edges.
I added some embellishments, touches of copic glitter pens here and there, and then finished the inside by adding a strip of designer paper and a  sentiment. I also put the main image on foam tape so it would have some dimension.

Sweet Tilda with Rose

I colored this yesterday at Jennifer's. I just love the Magnolia Tilda's--have I mentioned that before? LOL!
Since she was colored I thought it would jump start my creativity by creating a card with her. I cut her out and am happy to report I'm getting so much better at that! No one-her or me--was hurt in the process!!
My dear friend, Ann, sent me some of the SU Top Note diecuts for me to try. I can see I will have to be getting this die at some point, so fun! Thanks again, Ann!!
I was going to add more to this card but decided I liked it like this so there ya go! LOL!
