RAK- I Love Stamps Memory Dex Cards

I recently changed my swap group to a RAK group. Each month I put out a theme and you can use it or not to send out some fun RAKs. 

Many members of my group like Memory Dex cards so we're also sending out some memory dex cards as RAKs too.

This month the theme for the Memory Dex cards was embossing-either embossing folders or heat embossing. I thought since this was the first month of doing RAK's (random acts of kindness) that I would try to send out a TON!

Sweet November Stamps- Fairy Sleepover Digi Release

I feel so honored to be a guest designer at Sweet November Stamps for their Fairy Sleepover Digi Release!! Such cute and sweet fairies that are perfect for my Fairy February series!!

For today's card I used the Fairy Sleepover Foxglove Accessory Set Digi!! All those sweet fairies in deep slumber in the Foxglove! I haven't colored many night scenes so it was fun to try. Still lots to learn but it did turn out sweet!

There's a Stamp For That #44- Here's to a Great Year!

Challenge #44 in my group, There's a Stamp For That has the themes of Back to School or Square Card or Primary Colors. 

I got the MFT School is Cool stamp set recently and thought it would be the perfect set for this challenge. I went with the Back To School theme. Originally I thought maybe I'd do all three themes in one card but then changed my mind.

I'm also so happy that slimline cards are a thing as I knew I wanted to use all the cute images and couldn't get them to work well on a standard A2 card. 

I just love how it came out! So super cute!!

Kendra's Card Challenge #5- Sketches 7-15

Way back in February I started to do Kendra's Card Challenge #5. I got about halfway through it and then had to stop to work on other things. I put it aside and told myself I'd finish it before the challenge ended at the end of March. 

You can see how that worked out! LOL! Kendra's Card Challenge #6 has started and before I dive into that one I wanted to finish Challenge #5 so here we go!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January 2022 Release Day 3 and a Challenge

I used a bear from the Sweet n' Sassy stamp set, Bear Hugs! How super cute is that bear!! Adorable!!

I added texture to the bears using the colorless blender technique. I have a video showing how to do this HERE!

Buddy Bears

While I was making THIS card I ended up with two rectangle frames that I didn't use. I thought they were just too fun and wanted to use them so I did just that. 

I used the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Buddy Bears stamp set with both of the frames. What a fun stamp set! Such fun and cute bears!!

For my first card I paper pieced the little pillow for the bear. I added texture to him using the copic colorless blender technique, you can watch my tutorial HERE!

I haven't done a shaker card in awhile so I decided to make this one a shaker. 

I also did some paper piecing on my second card. His bow, patch and wagon are all paper pieced.

I did a coloring video with these bears that you can see HERE! I think this duo of cards turned out so sweet!!

Wake Up and Enjoy Today!

I set out today to make a Halloween card and then I saw the fun digi, But First Coffee from Stamp Anniething laying there and it just screamed to be colored up!

I love the curlers in her hair! I never had success with curlers when my hair was long but I know lots of people who did.

The sentiment is from a retired set from The Greeting Farm. 

I added some polka dots to the pajamas with a white pen and I also added some glossy accents to the cup to make it a bit more realistic.
