Sharing card #5 in the 30 projects in 30 days challenge I'm playing along with.

Today I used a fun stamp set from SugarPea Designs, Teacher's Pet. I thought it was an appropriate stamp set for this time of year! My kids headed back to school this week and I start a new job in a close school district on Tuesday as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I'm so excited!

I also used an older sketch from the SugarPea Sketch Challenge (which is now the Mix It Up Challenge).

Hello Friend!

I think it's always good to challenge yourself. I have several personal challenges going right now with my crafting and one of them is to use all the SugarPea Designs Sugar Sketches and Mix It Up Challenges--in order.

I've only done a few so it's a personal challenge that will keep me busy. Today I'm using SugarSketch #3.

I used the cute Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set for my card. I use to not like gnomes but I have to admit they are growing on me and I think this one is simply adorable.

Tons of Fun

For my early birthday present I got a set of 60 Zig Clean Clear Markers. These markers are really like no other! I watched a few videos about them before I got them and plan on watching more to learn as I go but I couldn't wait to try them out!

In case you are interested in these markers, I found Jennifer McQuire's videos the most helpful: This link takes you to her first video on these! Be sure to watch all 3 though!

For my first try at these I used the adorable elephant from the SugarPea Designs set- Tons of Fun! I think I did pretty well for my first try with these markers. A little bit of a learning curve but not too bad. Fun to try other coloring techniques besides always reaching for the copic markers!

I have challenged myself to complete each sketch that SugarPea Designs has put out as well so I'm starting with Sketch 1 for this card!!

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges~

Thanks for stopping by! Hope it's a super, crafty, fabulous day for you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today I have another card for the challenges for a yahoo group I'm in. The challenge is Lucky/St. Patrick's Day.

I had fun playing with the SugarPea Designs stamp set, Bushel & A Peck. Isn't that little girl just too cute and fun??

I also used an older SugarPea SugarSketch for my layout. I've sort of set a challenge for myself to do them all. So far I've done SugarSketch 006 and SugarSketch 001 and today's SugarSketch 002--still a lot to do but what fun to try and do them all!

Hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Tin Can Chat

A friend bought some cards from my Etsy Shop but wanted a friendship card for her daughter and her best friend so I told her I'd play around this week and see if I could make something she liked.

Normally I shy away from custom requests as the pressure drives me batty but this time it actually gave me inspiration! Yay!

For the first card I pulled out the uber cute SugarPea Designs stamp set, Tin Can Chat! This set is seriously so fun!!! and I had fun (despite being sick with a cold) creating this card!

I was SO pleased with the way my grass came out as it's been something I've struggled with. I also tried out my new Wink Of Stella Brush Tip Markers. Oh my gosh!! I am IN LOVE with these!! I tried to capture a photo of all the shimmer/sparkle. I did use Cryogen Iridescent cardstock so the paper has a shimmer but these just make it GORGEOUS!!!

I'm also very excited that I am down to scraps of this Echo Park Springtime 6x6 paper pad. I have made it a goal to use it up this weekend!!

I used an older sketch from SugarPea Designs, SugarSketch 006~

I'm also entering this into the following challenges~
Hope your Saturday is awesome!!

You're so thoughtful!

This card is going to a special little lady! When I order from SugarPea Designs I usually get a handwritten note on my packages saying Thank You by owner Wendy's daughter. So I thought it would be fun to send her a thank you for brightening my day!

I really had fun making this card--I say that often, don't I? But it's true. I just love creating-it makes my soul smile.

I used an old SugarSketch--actually it's the first one they put out back in March of this year but it worked great for this card!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~
